Since I am a cat,  I find it challenging enough to concentrate on one thing at a time.  This is especially true when I try to hunt so I can’t imagine how hard it woud be to multitask.  Dice

My dear Ms. Jane,

It was brave of you to share your story—thank you!  I am sure it will help other people to read it.  As for me, I try to live in the moment and not be judgemental, but then I’m a cat.  Nice to hear from you again.  I’ve missed you.  The following is from one of my people:

"When my father was young, he lived along the Mississippi River in Wisconsin.  His father (my grand father) was the county superintendent of schools.  The family lived up on the bank of the river.  Most of the children lived down right along the river.  Because many of their fathers drank (some to excess) on Saturday night, my father and his two siblings  wern’t allowed to play with the other children.  So their childhood was very controlled and lonely because of the discrepancy in education and morals."

First, by re-runs I love Imogene Coca, Gracie Allen, Carol Burnett as Scarlett, and who doesn’t love Lucy, especially when she and Ethel were candy makers.  For more current comediennes, to remind you, I love Lily, as well as Whoopie, Ellen, Tina Fey, and, of course, you, My Dear Ms. Jane, for your humorous creativity!

Dear Ms. Jane:  How good to hear from you once again!!  I, too have no problems sharing possessions with my family and friends.  Cats don’t need a lot of "things" and I am happy to be generous. But I have to admit I find it a little harder to share my food—especially when Monkey, my neighbor kitty, comes along and eats.  But I also know I can go to her house and get a meal. so it balances out.   I must admit that I am kinda shy when it comes to strangers.  All I need is a little time to warm up and once I have, you’re my friend forever.  Then I can give of myself and that really makes me very happy.  I’ll alwalys thank you for giving me my name. And I think your creativity illustrates the generosity of your spirit.  Love, Dice the Nice
