Dear Edith Ann, I’m the cat of the yard and I know how to make myself comfortable—by lying in damp grass and rolling in the dirt! Naturally that makes some people think I’m a messy dirt-bag. But in reality it is self protection from the heat and the fleas. So I say the world needs some useful messes, but it doesn’t need to be in a mess! Please keep on writing! We recently lost our beloved friend, Buffy Huffington (who was our correspondent with wow) She was 21 years old - (like close to 100 in cat years) We all miss her a lot and this video reminded us of her. She was the self-appointed town crier when food was about to be served. Now we just have to trust our people to serve meals at the right time. All cats have discriminating taste. Dice Aroni

I, too heard abut Colette and her creative cats. Sometimes this sort of information is difficult for me to come by since I am a cat. It is very important for me to keep the communication lines open with my “people” so we can share important info. By the way, I must tell you that I am 21 YEARS OLD so have gathered lots of important fact over the years. I like reading in bed and LOVE eating and playing kitty games there, too. I’ll let you know when I write my first book - perhaps one with catnip recipes. Buffy

If you haven’t done so already, get to your local animal shelter and take home a cat. It may turn out entirely different from the ones you’ve had but you will not be disappointed because all cats are WONDERFUL. Actually, while you’re at it, get two so you won’t feel guilty when you have to go to the store and leave one alone. You’ll never be sorry and neither will the cat(s) Buffy
