The only consideration of releasing her that should be taken into account is that her release would eliminate the burden of the cost of her medical care from the taxpayer. I am willingly pay the tax burden of her medical care to keep her confined to prison for the rest of her natural life. She was originally sentenced to death, now that sentence is being carried out by God, so be it. I find it ironic that in recent pictures of her, you can see an obvious growth on her forehead, centered around the place where she once scarred a cross into her head during her trial. I think God is trying to make a statement with that. I think those who control her release should listen. I am not without compassion for my fellow man, but in all honesty, it will make no difference in her life where she spends her last days, but it sends a clear message that committing such uncompassionate crimes, results in uncompassionate consideration for the offender for the rest of their lives without question Her belief in God is all she needs to bring her comfort in her last days. She doesn’t need to be released. Compassion is shown to her by the mere fact she has medical services provided to her and pain medication to ease her pain. I was against the death penalty until I saw the crime scene photos of this grisly murder. Now I’m all for it in cases like this and I’m only sorry they weren’t all put to death as sentenced. They’ve wasted taxpayer $$ and been an extreme emotional burden to the victim’s families. Unfortunately, since the California Supreme Court overturned their death penalties, the families will have to go through this again and again with parole hearings. And now that the death penalty is reinstated it doesn’t apply to them.

It isn’t about revenge……it’s about justice for the totally innocent victims who were denied their lives, including the baby, and their families who are still suffering and more because of this release effort after they just went thought this in 2006. Maybe google the crime photos of Sharon Tate and the others and then say this woman should be released. The Director of Corrections and from what I’ve seen on websites, even lefty sites, it’s 100% no way. People will email the Board of Paroles and shut any effort down. She deserves no other consideration. None.

Christina— Totally agree. Here is a website by Sharon Tate’s sister remembering all the victims including Sharon’s son. Abigail Folger, was a Harvard grad, a great artist, and worked with youth in Watts. There is a letter from Sharon’s father who saw the house and what they did to his daughter. And in court had to endure Susan Atkins giggling and mocking the victims families.
