I definitely worry when someone abstains from something especially since it usually becomes their "famous last words" ….

hmmm…. you know those instances when things are better left unsaid? Well, I have plenty to say ‘bout this but I’ll refrain from doing so this time because nothing really great could be said about "joe — the right-wing hero"….

Hey my dear little Edith, I have idea! Maybe you and I (as well as all the others who have recently joined the ranks of the unemployed) could pool our talents together and start up a business of our own! I cook up some tasty and healthy meals to accompany the mouth-watering lemonade I’ve heard so much about. I do promise that no matter what happens hugs and smiles will always be free,pthhh I wouldn’t mind dipping into my stash of mad money (don’t worry it’s not really “mad” my mom said so) And you see, we wouldn’t be greedy like those big companies and the banks - we could spread our earnings around and help provide homes for all the little critters in need of a home. Each age has it’s drawbacks, as well as the ability to provide great insights (I think children have thee cleverest and creative minds ever). So I don’t think I’d want to maintain a certain age in the metaphysical sense but in regards of physical deterioration I’d love to keep my health intact all through the years! For me “age” is something I associate mentally rather than physically or biologically. Then again, I’ve never been convinced that my biological age matched the age I “felt” I was. I think age, just as gender and sexuality can be fluid.

By far, the meanest commercial I’ve ever seen was for Grey Power Insurance. The commercial spends the entire time demeaning women and their ability (or as they allude to inability) to drive. “You don’t drive like her — so why are you paying the same insurance premiums as her…” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdPDmz5vKfY The portrayal is utterly obnoxious.

Josie, I wish I could offer some words of wisdom but I tend to be better with feeling emotions than putting them into words. I don’t understand how the world works sometimes. Some mornings are harder to get out of bed to seize the day than others.
