When it is published I’ll read it as a bedtime story..I will probably fall asleep on the first page, the one with the really big letters written in bright colored crayon, sort of like my children’s when they were in pre-k.

Ok, I get you now. I also believe we need leaders with common sense. It doesn’t take an MBA to understand business. Sometimes I think it gets in the way. I know one woman, head of huge insurance company, with a degree in nursing. And boy, has she made a difference in the bottom line in the company (and her personal finances; a home in the Hawaiian islands and a helicoptor to get to her home from the main island. Her husband flies it.) Anyway, the company is in the black even in this downward turn in the economy…I guess she has common sense.

Actually, Ms. Sara, last night on the national news channels, we saw China with building cranes sitting idle and no indication of any new infrastructure building. Seems they went overboard for the Olympics and now, with the economic slowdown, have buildings sitting empty, the Bird’s Nest not being used and they are in a world of trouble, too.

What do you suggest as a solution to the economic problem. Maybe some of the people on the mast head on WOW can get the message out and the powers that be can act to rectify the mess we are in caused by 6 years of the republicans in control of the House and Senate. And, to tell the truth, the new Democrates in office were not up to speed before the meltdown. The old guard were not doing their job either. That is why we have elections in this country. To oust the people who are suppose to work for the people in a government by the people, for the people.

Can You Believe She's 40?

EKA, I know what you mean. At 45 I noticed a little weight gain around the middle, quickly got a trainer and started my first real exercise program. I had always walked a lot and used some weights but never a real regime. I have to say, at 45, I never looked better than then.

Now at 60, I’m looking at some major overhauling. And that is just to slow the slide. I will, as I get nearer to 70, age gracefully. Although, Liz Smith really looks good at 86!
