When I was in college, a cousin gave me DVF’s Tatiana. I adored that scent. Then I became enamored with Diorissimo, then it was Joy and lately Miracle by Estee Lauder and now, it’s Touch of Sun by Lacoste. But the thing is, I consider a baby’s scent as the most evocative perfume.

I seldom wear panty hose as it is hot here in the tropics. I go to work in slacks and when at home, shorts and shirts. Think of the money saved by not buying those instrument of torture.

Parting with long held possessions is very difficult. However, for the sake of sanity, it must be done. I have given away old clothes, gave old magazines to the recycling plant and throw away those bags that are not usable anymore. I, however, held on to my books. Those will remain with me.

I have allergy to beef and its by-products including milk so I don’t eat it. Although I’m not a vegetarian, I seldom eat meat, prefering to eat vegies and fish. Chocolate is another thing entirely.

Enjoyed the sale story. What is it with the “sale” word. I admit I get a wee bit agitated when I see the sale word. I just have to go in and browse and pick and fit and buy to my heart’s content. Especially if shoes are the ones on sale.

Hey, Lady Gator, any possibility of your friend giving you the recipe for “Better than Sex”? I would like to try to bake one.

I learned to cook by just watching my mother do her thing in the kitchen. When my siblings and I left the nest so to speak, for college, we learned to fend for ourselves and took turns cooking. My favorite things to cook seems to be breakfast dishes. And my most favorite of all is ham and cheese omelet. I think everybody who cooks has their own version of this dish so no recipe included.

Did Mrs. Spitzer point a gun in the govrnor’s head and ordered to go have a prostitute? I think not so why blame her? It’s not as if Mr. Spitzer does not have a mind of his own and is not responsible for whatever actions he has done. As for “Dr.” Liz, does she even know what she is talking about?

I believe its time to let the late lamented princess rest in peace. She did not achieve it during her lifetime so perhaps she attained it when she died.

I was born in a household where both parents work. I took it for granted that it was normal for a wife/mother to work outside the home. When I entered high school, my father would say that I should take up medicine because it would be a good career choice for me. Whe I was in college, I found out that the set up in my family was not the norm but the exeption. What an eye opener that was.

I generally don’t take the reviews of eating places as gospel truth. What a reviewer find to his or her taste may not be to my liking. I judge for myself and if I enjoy the experience then I go back with my friends.
