It goes with running for office. She couldn’t overcome it and you wanted Obama to come to her rescue? No. The First Woman President will take this issue head on, ala Anne Richards, and will turn the attacks to her advantage. But cry victim? That won’t do. And I didn’t see her jumping into Obama’s defense when Jeremiah Wright was being in the limelight. My GOP friends are far far nastier to her. They refer to her as “Shillary.” The things I’ve heard from Rush and the rest of the GOP talking machine are much worse, so you’ll find nothing but opportunistic “friends” there.

It’s about whether it deserves a death sentence, not a long prison sentence. His argument was that if their clients are facing the death penalty, the CHILD rape victim would be re-victimized when they are forced to testify. That’s what he said, although I think he’s wrong and that juries would take it under consideration if they saw a defense lawyer putting a child through hell. “Of course he didn’t wear the t-shirt, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t condone that and all the other stuff.” and it doesn’t mean he did. Any evidence that he condoned the shirt? Any credible evidence at all? Not angry over Clinton voters and Roe at all. I also think that it’s a better than 50% chance that Senator Clinton will be on the ticket. That would be historic. Then I guess if we don’t elect them the country will be both racist AND sexist. I am angry at what’s become of my country in the last 8 years. I think that the 75% of the people who think we are on the wrong track agree with me, but we’ll see what happens in November, which is a long way away.

The clip is illustrative of a defense attorney stating that he will go to any extreme to keep his client off of death row. Do you REALLY need to take it out of context? Is your position THAT weak? Did Senator Obama wear the T-Shirt? Did it express his views? Didn’t think so. OK, So now I’m hearing from you that violence against women is funny. You’ve come a long way baby!

And we will also see Republicans for Obama. It’s a non-story as it happens every election year. As for “get real” how is the continuation of the disastrous track we are on “real?” We are in huge debt because of the war (Which we’ve borrowed to finance because the President doesn’t have the guts to ask the American people to pay for it during his term). It’s pretty scandalous. The Reno Gazette-Journal recently reported that one month Gibbons sent 860 text messages to a woman with whom Mrs. Gibbons suspects her husband of stepping out. Gibbons you may recall started his governorship amidst accusations that he assaulted a cocktail waitress named Chrissy Mazzeo three weeks before Election Day. Mazzeo said Gibbons grabbed her in a parking garage and threatened to sexually assault her. Charges were never filed. Might want to scratch that joke from the schtick, senator, especially in Nevada. - jpt

It’s either raise taxes or cut spending. Take your pick. Would you prefer that we cripple our children’s future the rest of the way by ignoring the debt? Choose, raise taxes or cut spending. I really don’t care which one we choose so long as we get the debt back to a manageable figure. Are should we continue to borrow to pay off the debt? Or maybe tax cuts will somehow generate surpluses? But isn’t that a definition for insanity? Doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results? So, what do YOU want to do?

We know John McCain’s judgment and character? He’s flip-flopped on every position he’s ever had. Do we chalk all of his previous positions to “Youthful indiscretion?” Also, only 2? That’s it? Of the 30,000,000 votes Hillary gained, only two from New Hampshire are voting for McCain? Sounds like a Obama win to me. I’ll chalk it up to anecdotal evidence.
