Bobbie - I dont see Kate becoming an actress - I dont see anyone casting her for a movie…but if it ever comes to that, it is done all the time…Kate is great with her time management, from what we are able to see.  I am sure if she ever is in a movie and is off filming it then yes Jon will have to be Daddy again and watch HIS kids - they are his too.  Its not babysitting when its YOUR KIDS…

Sherrie no we dont fail to take that into consideration but Obama is President - he could stop the wars and bring our Troops home and stop spending that money each month BUT he hasnt.  Why?  What does he know that we dont that Bush knew all along and couldnt share……..ever stop to think about that?   Obama said he would listen to his generals in Afghanistan YET he isnt - he would bring our Troops home from Iraq, yet he hasnt - so when does Obama’s spending stop on these 2 wars?  He is President now - its his spending not Bush’s…Bush started it and Obama isnt stopping it…

Bobbie - you had 2 kids, Kate has 8 - that is a big difference and she does spend time with her kids…you make it seem like she is off around the world and away from her kids all the time - when she was away Jon was there - yes with 8 kids you need help so they had help and still do - I dont see an issue with that - and its the same girl, its not like they change sitters on a whime.  I feel Kate has put her kids first and they will remember all the times they had w/ their parents.  Time will tell what effect this will have on those 8 kids…

I am not sure but hasnt Obama increased the national debt in one year in which it took Bush 8 to do?  That for me speaks volumes! 

Not to mention Obama called a press conference yesterday to talk about Ft. Hood YET he said maybe a couple of sentences…he used the other time to talk about everything else…what kind of message does that send to our Military - you know the one he is Commander in Chief of?  Has he gone there yet oh no wait he went to Walter Reid instead - if that was Bush - the Dems would have his head on a platter if he didnt fly down to Ft Hood asap…

Obama is not liked as he was a year ago - yes there are some people who expected Obama to come in wave his wand and it all go POOF and when they are now figuring out it doesnt work that way and some of those lose their jobs anyway - they are pissed…If McCain had won the Dems would be riding his back on everythng and making it all worse. 

Bobbie - what is normal?  Seeing their parents struggle to put food on the table for them - being raised by someone else most of the time anyway b/c Mommy & Daddy both had to work 10 + hours a day?  Would that have made you better to know that family would live paycheck to paycheck and their parents would have split up years before they really did? 

Im sure when those kids are older they will have fond memories of what they were able to do as kids and they will have their college education PAID - they wont have that financial worry to contend with - wow what kid wouldnt want that? 

You must have missed her interview b/c she isnt on the go all the time - she is home 90% of the time - she did her book tour when Jon was at home w/ the kids….so again please show me where these 8 kids are with nannies all the time…I havent seen it. 

Joy but what is normal?  To these kids their life was normal b/c they really didnt know any different…so now that the show is done and those bonds they made with their tv crew - what then?  How will the kids act?  I would like to know…Your normal is not their normal and its not my normal.  Personally having cameras following me would drive me crazy to turn around and see them there all the time but that is ME - not them.

Babysitters for me are better then daycares - those kids are now in school - their Mother is out selling her book for money - their Father is out sleeping w/ whoever and being an a$$. 

Those kids play & they have had many chances of being kids - if you dont watch the show then how do you know?  No it doesnt matter what size house you live in - no it doesnt matter what kind of cars you drive - being on this tv show gave those kids and parents many opportunities that they normally would not of had.  How many times did your friends go on vacations to HI or skiing?  How many times did the young girls get to go to NY and see American Girl and have a party? 

Im not saying what Kate did was right or wrong but I am not here to judge her.  I think Kate is a great Mother and I learned a lot from her watching the show.  I dont know how she does it with 8 kids - 1 is good with me but to have 8…and she ran her house like a tight ship - I think its great.

Bobbie - yes they dont know any different b/c that has been their life and too bad those you mentioned didnt have the same opportunities as you might be surprised to know they probably would have taken it. 

Yes do I think they need to both grow up - a little for Kate but a lot for Jon.  He is a selfish bafoon a$$.  The kids can go to the park and be kids - why can’t they? 

I am shocked at those with opinions about Jon and Kate and then mention they never watched the show…Im sorry but I am on Kate’s side.  Jon was a total jack a$$ - you have 8 kids - she didnt get pregnant on her own - he had to be OK With it.  Did they want 6 at one time - NO - read their website.  She didnt get pregnant with 6 and then seek out a show on TLC.  After the 6 were born they wrote a book and then was approached by TLC to do the show - who would turn it down if its going to give your children a better life…Kate did not get pregnant with 6 at one time on purpose like Octomom…please people - most of you do your homework but passed on this subject.

 I saw the interview and I am, like I said on Kate’s side.  They would go out in public and Jon would walk away from his 8 kids - yes I would have yelled IDIOT to him also…Who cares there are cameras there - its not their job to watch his kids - there were plenty of times where the camera men or PA’s had to step in and stop the kids from doing something that would have hurt them b/c Jon walked away when he was supposed to have been watching them…I would yell at my hubby too if he did that, Mothers we all know we harp on the Daddy’s when they aren’t up to our PAR and if you say you dont your lying.  Were there times that Kate lashed into Jon, yes, but who wouldnt when your home all day with 8 kids - Until you walk a mile in her shoes you dont know what it was like in their house.

 Those kids didnt mind the cameras - if the kids had a meltdown they always left them alone, the cameras, they never followed the kids around either like dogs.  I think Jon is a pig and he is getting what he deserves and I think its awful that b/c he stole $180K out of their joint acct and got busted for it he pulled the plug on the show.  That shows his maturity - he will never go back to an IT job and Kate can never go back to being a nurse b/c of who they are…the media will always be there following them - what hospital will hire her and what IT Firm will hire him? 

 If you watched the show - he quit his IT job b/c of the media attn - they followed him to work.  So he quit and stayed home w/ the kids while Kate went out and made the money - he got lonely and jealous and it went all down hill from there.

I dont remember it here in the states but every year when we visited my family in Canada they were delievered milk in glass bottles…It was the freshest best tasting milk I have ever tasted.  You can still find some milk up there in grocery stores in glass bottles. 

I have a question - if you buy your milk the way it is now and transfer it to a glass bottle - will it last the same amount of time? 

I have seen accidents where those driving and caused the accident were high on marijuana and trust me it wasnt pretty…I have also seen accidents where those involved and caused the accident were drunk or high on another illegial drug. 

I have seen people do some crazy stuff off of marijuana - so I am not sure why people say it mellows people out - I have seen it do the opposite to some.  I have never tried it and I take pride in that!!

Yes it would be a very good way of making money but at what cost?  Do I think it should be available medically - yes - but just b/c - I am leaning No.

I dont see anything wrong w/ the photo - it wont make me run out and buy the magazine but I dont have anything bad to say about how Michelle looks.  Its a proven fact that these magazines airbrush and remove things from their cover photos…I do care how many people the First Lady has working for her b/c it is my tax money paying their salary.

 I have yet to see Michelle do anything "wrong" this first year and I do expect she will continue to grow along with their 2 beautiful daughters.

Sherrie - what do you base that from?  Have you met Michelle or Laura to say that?  Michelle graduated from Harvard yet but what did she do with that law degree?  Laura Bush was a school teacher - that is a very noble profession - a lawyer not so much….so please again tell me why you say Michelle is "beautiful, articulate and accomplished" then Laura…..or that is just your opinon - which you are entitled to but you have to have a reason why.
