I could say that Condoleezza Rice would be the only woman I would VOTE for as President…Maybe she can run against Hilliary is 2012…How awesome would that be? CR just seems so much more grounded and always very polished. She already has good relations with the Middle East and just about every other country, what is not to like? Denzel is HOT! Anyone would be nuts NOT to have a crush on him!

I too pray that our and other countries Athletes get home safely & healthly. I too am real scared or worried about Terrorist and the Pollution. This morning I believe it was Tom Brokaw who was over there reporting from right across the street from where the opening ceremony is going to take place and you couldnt even see it behind him b/c of the smog or whatever there calling it. He was right across the street…That alone scares me…How is all of that going to effect the Athletes…I also heard on the radio that the Chinese Ruler has given the Chinese People very strict guidelines on how they are to act and what they can and can’t do while the Olympics are going on…WOW is all I could say to that. I couldnt imagine our President giving us direct orders on how we can act and what we can and can’t say. I dont think we, being Americans, or any other country is making this Political but the Chinese are by putting out there what can and can’t be done or what can and can’t be said…

I would have to donate the funds to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital b/c those children some less than 2 who are suffering with diseases and they really don’t know whats going on. I would want to help the parents pay their hotel bills while they attempt to stay close to their children…Of course there is no wrong answer as there are so many who need that $1 mill…

Diana T about your 12:46 pm post calling Republican Toxic…In reading most all the posts I dont see any person saying anything negative about Obama calling all Obama supporters Toxic…we may think that but have yet to call anyone names as that. I think that post was very rude and offensive. We are not toxic we are stating our opinions like you do…Its the Obama supporters who get upset and start arguing when someone happens to say anything negative about Obama…Let the games begin if you say what u think about Obama and if its negative. You like him some dont. Again calling us toxic was wrong and close to abusive.

Lady Gator thank you for your post…I didnt know all that about Mrs. McCain and not surprised to see that no one has come back with anything negative to say about her. She seems to do a lot, more than what I have heard about Mrs. Obama…not that i am saying anything negative about her, but what does she stand for? I think Mrs. McCain does tons and I applaud her. Who cares about Paris and her video…she had people write it for her, big deal, who cares that she was actually able to memorize those lines or have someone feed it to her thru an ear piece??? Lord have Mercy are we really going to applud Paris for all her drug and DUI convictions b/c she made one good video? have ya’ll forgotten she could have killed innocent people by driving drunk and on drugs?

Plus if Edwards was just there to visit, which I am sure he wasn’t, why does he look like he just ran a Marathon b/c he is sweating really something awful…I dont think he would be sweating if he was just there for a visit…Use commen sense…

Ok it wasnt said to offend anyone and sometimes being a Muslim does provoke violence…but thats another story, again it wasnt meant to offend and apologize if it did…Lordie. all im saying is that I hope the story isnt true and I consider the source of the story and know they are known to photo crop & everything else…its very easy, easy, easy to do! And many people read that stuff…I DONT but my Nana use too and she had an IQ way over 40…

I also feel that what happens in someone’s private life is private until they make it public. If we are asking someone to run our Country then we have ever right to know what goes on behind their closed doors. I mean if McCain was KKK or Obama really is a Muslim, that would hinder your vote I am sure as it would mine! I do not feel that the story is true about John Edwards and pray that its not. He is the one person I feel would be best at being President and was truly sad when he dropped out of the race. The only way I would vote for Obama is if JE was his VP.

I have never felt comfy in front of the camera hence I dont think I ever look good in pictures…others say other wise but…Now my daughter, she is 2, and every picture we take seems to come out beautiful! It amazing but very, very Thankful!

I agree with both you Star and Marjorie…Why do al the Dems think having a Dem President is going to change anything & so far I haven’t read, heard or seen anything…You ladies got to my point, Thank You! I work for a bank and see the foreclosure every day…its sad, really, really sad. It is far worse than anything you hear on the news. My sister has traveled with her bank to foreclosure clinics happening in all states and she said you see people from all over, poor & rich loosing their homes for whatever reason. If the market is that bad, lower the rates again so some can refi and afford their homes. The price of homes is coming down but the interest rates are going up & now banks are making it harder & harder to get a loan b/c they messed up giving loans to just anyone for anything & now they are trying to be strict. But why is it that most american people look at the Government to bail them out? I mean you got yourself into this…a lot of people knew they couldnt afford the homes they were buying, more than reported. Its not always the lenders fault.

Thank You Star b/c that is the question I have wanted to know the answer too…Will we really be better under all Dems? I mean what can they change so quickly that we will see this turn around happen asap? Just b/c everything will be Dems does not mean whats wrong with our Country will just go away if Obama is elected…Please educate…

I would have to agree w/ so many! LOVE…Love between me and my parents, my sister and all the Love I have between me and my Fiance’. We have been thru some times but to see that look in his eyes when he looks at me, its amazing. That just 5 years ago he was a total stranger and now…I am having some health issues with Vertigo and he has been my rock…Dr. bills out the wazoo and he is just there, trugging along, wanting to make it all better…above that the LOVE from my 2 year old. To have her yell my name when she see’s me after a long day at work or when she wakes up in the morning and just wants to LOVE me. Its the best. To top it off, the LOVE from GOD…He has truly blessed my life. I had a great child hood never needed anything…now he has blessed me with a wondeful Fiance’ and daughter and we don’t need for anything, we have all that we need to Life and Love.

Am I the same person I was in high school…NO. The only person I am still friends with today that I was friends with then is my Sister. I dated the same guy all thru out high school and then he went to college and we broke up, no biggie…But to say I am still the same person, there is no way. In my 20’s I dated a real “nice” guy, lets just say that is when I grew up & say the true meaning of the word “player”…but that chapter is closed & I have been blessed with a wonderful Fiance’ and beautiful 2 year old daughter and were getting married in October…I am stronger, smarter & tons more patient then I ever was in high school.

Like my last article to read stated…If offshore drilling is so bad for our shores and won’t see the benefit of it for years and years, there is no quick fix, why not stand your ground & not give in? McCain gave in so I wanted to see Obama stand tall and back his initial stand on off shore drilling. Now I am looking at him as a flip flop…There isnt a way you can drill off shore without some damage to our shores…there just isnt. So Stand Tall Obama oh wait you already flipped.
