But "fewer" seems to be a word that’s fallen out of fashion…or at least nobody differentiates it and its agreement with plural nouns from "less" and its correct agreement with singular nouns. Less is all you ever hear these days. Less people, less dollars, less and less creative ideas. It’s literally an abomination! Drives me crazy.

Oh, wouldn’t I love to see "33 Variations"! If only… I’m sure Jane Fonda is just exquisite, but Beethoven is such a mysteriously adorable character. I’d love to see how they focused this plot. My favorite so far, in terms of the portrayal of the man’s character, has been "Copying Beethoven." But this one sounds equally insightful. Well…maybe someday I’ll see a production of it somewhere. But it won’t have Jane Fonda, or that fresh sheen of a new production. (sigh…)
