Back to the topic, I won’t be surprised if Bristol and Levi are back together again in a few months. I hope so. Otherwise, custody and visitation will have to be worked out legally…and given the situation, that could be a long and stressful process. Just because they weren’t married doesn’t mean that Levi doesn’t have parental rights.

I’m hoping they just needed a little time out to clear their heads, set their sails, and then see what lies ahead.

I agree, Diana. I haven’t read either one of his biographies, but I think he understand how unlikely is has become for a man from his humble beginnings to become President, so he knows how important it is not to throw any upstanding citizen away. Unlike so many leaders in the past who, however noble their intentions, had only experienced life as part of the privileged class, Obama has experienced life at nearly every echelon of American society. And I think, while he expanded his legal acumen and understanding of our Constitution, he’s always been mulling over how to bring liberty and justice "for all." He might disappoint me, ‘cause I don’t think he walks on water, and he’s bound to be foreced into one or two unpleasant compromises, but it seems to me that’s what he means when he talks about a more perfect union. He means everybody.

That was pretty amazing. I just now had a chance to listen. I thought it was going to be something about usury, but to find out Bear Stearns was run by a bridge-playing bookie, is equally reinforcing of my view regarding what’s been going on on Wall Street for the past decade or so. Thanks.
