Hooray! What a day - I enjoy all the ladies’ comments so much! Love the WOWOWOW! Maurine, you said it all. I think McCain will surely come to regret this move. And how cool to know Whoopi is reading our comments and joining in with us. Especially as she is so very busy this month! Love you Whoopi! I sort of watched the View in the beginning but was still working - short on time, everybody talking at once, etc., just didn’t grab me. Then tried it again with Rosie, didn’t grab me. When you came on I became a solid fan and never miss a show! Ever!! Can’t wait till you start up again in Sept!!

Now that will be interesting to hear. You know she will have figured it all out in her head and it will make perfect sense. I hope Barbara is there the first week - things don’t tend to get quite as out of control when she is there. At least they aren’t gone the whole summer. I went to a book signing awhile back and although Ms. Walters had to be completely exhausted (here in Las Vegas filimg the show that week) from running to and fro one book store after another, she was so completely gracious and beautiful. She has such a calmness about her - I really admire her.

I always love to hear what Whoopi has to say. I am missing The View like crazy and agree with you Carol on the Hot Topics however, I think think things might tend to get a bit too testy between the girls if you get my drift without naming names. Anyway … I loved the convention last night - had no problem with their “decor” and all in all enjoyed all 4 days. Many thanks to Bill and Hillary for their great speeches. Won’t be watching next week though - I can just imagine what it will be like. I noted how many times speakers “praised” Mr. McCain for his past service, etc., but then went on to discuss why we absolutely cannot see him as our President. I don’t think Mr. McCain will have one good thing to say about Barack - not one time. Have a great Labor Day Weekend all!

Might be interesting to research it further. I googled it and without going into any cited articles, there are really two sides to the issue. Some seem to say it has many benefits related to the gastro, others say don’t do it - it can cause IBS and other related problems. Hummm. I’m all for doing everything I can to live to be 110! If aloe will help me reach that goal I’m all for trying it! In the meantime I’ll stick to my Jamba Juice mango a-go-go.

As soon as I read Diana T’s words all I could think of was very well said, then I scroll down and see that is exactly what you said. Sometimes I wonder about human beings - where are their heads? Nevadans have been fighting against the Yucca Mountain dump for years. McCain is for it, openly said he is against even taking the trucks through Arizona, yet he would dump it in our State. Yet, Nevada is predominately for McCain? He, a senior, wouldn’t even respond to AARP regarding his policies. We recently had our primary election. A District Court Judge that had been suspended for over a year and had numerous complaints against her received 9200 votes. Very very scary! Hazel Lewis
