I totally agree with you Carol!

This country is in trouble if Palin becomes president because McCain isn’t healthy. I’m so disappointed in McCain’s choice. I certainly don’t hate Palin, but I am sickened by her. I believe she should have thought of the country first and refused the VP running mate offer.

I made my decision last night. I’m voting for Obama. Palin is just too scary and we cannot afford the possibility that she might end up in the White House. What was McCain thinking?!?

Don’t you think there is enough negativity about politics to leave it out of Birthday wishes?

That’s where I disagree Star. Instead of “exception” I would use the word especially…in politics.

I wondered when the ugliness was going to surface. C’mon S. Florida…do you really want to stoop that low on a birthday thread. Don’t use that excuse, “well they did it on Bush’s birthday”….be bigger than that. Your ten ways of trashing him is in bad taste. C O- I agree about the commercials. However, recently on this site Obama was criticized for speaking slowly in response to an interview. It was one of Liz’s contributions. That’s why I can’t wait to see the debates. Isn’t it strange that we have to worry about Obama being killed for running for POTUS. It is a real fear for real awful reasons. If I were a republican I wouldn’t have that worry, even after the terrible things that this administration has done to our country. Liberals don’t seem to have the same reputation for killing what they don’t like. As an independent I’m sick of it all but I do want to see change.

C O- Speaking of oil, I was disturbed by an ad I just saw. It was a McCain ad claiming that Obama is the reason for our high petrol prices. I find that kind of campaigning really distasteful but more than that, it’s an out right lie. I am an independent and am still making up my mind on the candidates. The last two bits McCain did on Obama (satire video and this ad) have made me think quite lowly of him. We can look to no other than our current POTUS for the trouble our country is in right now.
