Love the post Lily - welcome to the obsessive/compulsive club of highly artistic women! I can so relate to the numbers thing - 3 is actually my number.  And I was born on Friday the 13th, so it is my lucky number.  Anyway, I remember looking forward to turning 33 because I thought that was some sort of special thing… Well, that’s all I have - cheers (three times) to our obsessions!

What is it they say - the present is a gift, be there - or something like that - I am always mixing up those sayings that “they” say… anyway, no matter where you go there you are, so enjoy the moment!!!

I’ve written to the mayor as well. It seems so obvious that Jenny needs to go to the elephant sanctuary - what is the problem? Thanks to all who are fighting for Jenny.

I am going to tag onto the contradiction of being an artist in a society that is devoted to art/music, but does not really support it. I am a musician/ songwriter and have always struggled with the fact that I cannot make a living doing what I love. Instead I found a place to work that supports my devotion to music - but also expects me to put in 40+ hours a week! I am not complaining because I appreciate being able to live the way I do. I simply wish there was a way to do what I love and make a living doing that.
