Why Going Green Is the Ultimate Success Strategy for Women Entrepreneurs, by Diane MacEachern
The woman of all mankind, Mother of our Earth (Mother Earth), was a wonderful woman whom people may have mistreated and ignored in previous years, decades or centuries. She has been here to feed us, clothe us, and to be our beacon of life. But through the years, humans became selfish and wanted more and didn’t really treat Mother Earth as we should. Some humans called out "we have rights" and we will do as we please, not thinking about Mother Earth’s rights too.
Earth Is Us, it belongs to us and we must take care of it. Where are we to go if she should fail? Indeed there is NO where else we can go.
After so many years of neglect, she began to fight back. Ugly swollen rivers full of trash began to flood our promised lands. Hurricanes began to sweep our livelihoods, our businesses, our schools, and our homes from the face of the earth. Tornadoes with truly unheard of wind speeds, hit places never before subject to these horrendous acts of nature. Glaciers melting and sealife dying at record paces because of water temperature differences. Snows and rains of uncanny measurements. Will this ever stop? NO, it will not stop unless we stop and smell the roses and help Mother Earth to become once again Green.
Again, I say: We are the earth. It is our job to clean up, spruce up, support and think about ways to quit using toxic chemicals, using earth healthy products, and thinking about increasing our hopelessly pitiful ecological resources to those of great magnitude. If we don’t, our Mother Earth will no longer be here for us. And as we are the earth, we won’t be here either.

Why It's Cool to Move Your 94-Year-Old Mother in With You, by Ruth Charny
Those willing and capable of taking in their parents or in-laws are definitely angels.
After having a loved one in a nursing care facility, I have found these places are wonderful places, but they are not a "home". It’s my opinion, with two incomes needed in current day families, most children are probably not be able to offer accomodations if the parent needs care of any sort. End stage disease/illness typically requires more than living accomodations.
The number of people in nursing homes, who never have visits from sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, and other family, is very high according to some statistics I read not long ago. That is sad.

Have you ever been involved in a natural disaster? Are there any natural disasters you truly fear?
When my kids were young, I took them on a business trip to Galveston. I drove there so we could visit relatives in Houston on our way to Galveston. On the way back from Galveston, there was a huge tornado coming my way when I was going through Houston. I let my kids out at a McDonalds and told them to go in and find a wall to lie against. The tornado hit as I was going in the door. Tremendous damage but the McDonalds was the only building not seriously damaged in the area.
Also been through 2 earth tremors from earthquakes near the New Madras Fault (Illinois - Missouri). Although these were in the southern part of the state (about 120 miles), we had damage to our walls from the house settling. I hated the feel of these tremors. I felt the earth was out of control.

For crying out loud what in the heck brought on these kind of responses? PMS?? I think I know how, what and when I want to believe and my religious teachings were indeed something I want to carry forth and believe in as an adult. Any person who as an adult chooses to not believe what you learned as a child relative to religion that’s your business. I don’t need someone telling me what to believe in or how to believe it. I believe in God and that I need to ask for forgiveness many times over. Believe what you want. I don’t worship a priest or a minister or anyone else. I didn’t say I had to go to church to ask for forgiveness. I said I liked the church bell. It’s pretty bad when someone argues over what another said and whether or not I meant this or that. Religion is a really personal thing. My opinion is my opinion. You don’t need to respond if you intend to discredit my beliefs. I won’t discredit yours and if I want to act like a child, I will. pfffffffffffffffft!
