Just life people, just life creates that feeling in me. The way God created us, and the way we speak. Everyone speaks different languages. And sometimes I would meet like Chinese and Indians and I dont understand a word they are saying. Not like Spanish where u pick up here and there. Everyone has vision, we see stuff. Our eyes are there and it awes me. Then there is the wind. The wind awes me the most. How it blows, come and goes, it does. Then there are the stars and the planets up above that create a general awe in me. I want to go and see more up there. I want to know the true meaning of LOVE and I want to study if God IS real. It puzzles me how we can all react different to situations. How cats love to be petted and loved just like human beings. How we want to be loved by others. Well Im only a teen and I really wanna get a little older now, maybe like twenty seven but I want to live to be one hundred so much. Not much people in my country live to be that age u know. Its hot over here and we dont have alot of malls and stuff. I guess people just die out in Guyana because mostly of diseases and crime and just their family genes. It’s like in Guy, when u reach a certain age, U ole bad. and we young peeps call them old people. But it would be great like I said to reach one hundred. By then, I would have enough knowledge of this world then I would exit. I wanna live to see when they find a cure for AIds and cancer and when everyone in the world is well fed and nourished, then I want to exit. The best way to please a guy is by not asking him alot of questions about how u look and by not asking him to do something over and over again when u had already asked him and he didnt reply then. I believe that guys are not easy to please they are thinking the same thing about us right now. How to please the females. Why dont we all be us instead of thinking. Let it come natural and not forced. If u want to love a guy, he has to love u for who u are and it shouldnt be hard to please him then. Because he should be pleased with u. I was like six then when Princess Diana died and I was at a creek on the highway when my folks where saying something about how this Princess died. I didnt know then who she was but I saw her funeral on television because my mother was watching it and then that was it. But now as I’ve reached the age of seventeen where u like are more sensible than then, I begin to understand who Princess Diana is and what she really meant to the world. I love her so much now and wish that she was still alive. One of the things I liked about her when I see it now is how she was so brave and good to go and visit those people who had AIDS. She was actually huging them and kissing them. People began to spread rumours that maybe Princess Diana had gotten Aids but we all knew she didnt. She was such a wonderful person and I had always thought in the back of my head that the Queen killed her. Ever since I was little, my fwends used to say how EVIL QUEEN ELISABETH killed princess Diana. And then one night I looked at this lifetime movie they did on Princess Diana and I was like, look, u know what, I dont know if she is evil, so let it just remain that way. But then in the movie,with the flash at the end of the tunnel and all, I started to think that her death was a set up, you know. Like someone did that to them and not the paparazzi. I wont be surprised if someone DID try to kill her. As we all know there are people out there who are VERY nice and there are other people out there who dont like the nice people. I dont know. But I have her listed down as one of my heroes and I guess she will always be. I love her sons too.LOL. Theyre handsome.LOL But truly, I believe that she was the BEST the world had ever seen. Yeah, thanks Whoopi. I now understand where u are coming from relating to Sarah Palin. Even if Im not an American, and am wayyy over here in SOuth America, she’s on the news and stuff and u hear alot about her from u and the ladies on The View. But I think she should say something about her daughter and her being not married and pregnant. It puzzled me. It’s like for us teens now. I dont quite know alot about her but to me, if I was to think of how that would affect other teens out there, it would be like, like my fwends say, she is encouraging this behaviour? Or is it that she doesnt want to talk about it? Or is it that she believes, like u said Whoopi, its a family matter and it should not be discussed in her speeches? The Best thing I do for me is take time off to do a little of everything I like. Even if some of my likes are not reachable right now, like going into a mall that’s three blocks or two big, I still say to myself that one day, I’ll go into one. You know, like having hope that what u want will happen. I wake up everyday with thoughts in my head telling me that it’s going to be a dull day, but I MAKE it fun for me. Even if it’s not other people’s type of fun, I like it. I watch The View now, since school is closed and I love that show so much. Then I wait for CSI Miami to show and then Crossing Jordan. After that I go onto the internet to come here and read posts from the ladies. U see? Life is supposed to be a happy journey and the only way to do that is to try a little bit of everything u like that u CAN do now for urself. Mostly though, I believe I love people too much than I like myself. I raise my hopes by dreaming that one day I’ll meet my role models and I’ll become an actress in Hollywood. That’s GOOD FOR ME. I believe I was a teacher in my past life. Just that and I think in the same Guyana where I am. I had students who loved me and I used to watch whoopi movies all the time, old ones. And I used to live in my own apartment and I believe I was alone. There were no lovers and just a television in my apartment. And I had a cat, well I think at least five. I loved it then. To be honest with you, I wish I could meet Whoopi Goldberg. She is my hero and role model and if I EVER get to meet her, that would be the happiest moment of my life. Of course, she would just like, say hi and move on, but I would be like, “OH MY GOSH!” is that really Whoopi? lol. Then I would hug her, but ask first if I can. Then I’d tell her I LOVE HER SO MUCH. And how she inspires me to have in my mind all the time, that I want to be a great actress like her one day. She has made me want to become an actress and a comedian and I want her to know if she ever reads this that no matter how my friends mock at me and tell me that Whoopi is crazy and how can I love her out of all other celebs, I will always support her. Everything she does and people have a problem with it, I check it out and decide for myself if she did something wrong. Many times, she doesnt and when there are times that she does, I accept it because people all have different opinions on stuff and everyone wishes the world was an equal place to live in but I know that God cant make everyone agree on something at once. Whoopi, I love the books u have recommended for the younger kids, like my sister. I think she prefers Nancy Drew and Enid Blyton. I’m not saying that Dr Seuss’ collection is Bad. But In my country those books are hardly here, u would mostly find Nancy Drew and um, Hardy Boys and Enid Blyton. And for the teens, it’s Romance books and V.C Andrews. But personally, I like J.D Robb books even if Im only seventeen, I still enjoy them. The Adventures of Captain Underpants and Gregor the Overlander sound so KEwl to read, but I can’t find them in Guyana. Maybe it’s just that people over here are not familiar with those great books or it’s either they don’t care at all. But I agree with u on the FlashCards thingee. In nursery school and playgroup, they used that to teach us our alphabet and vowels and stuff and it was so kool to have words and letters corresponding with Pictures and kool cats and animals and stuff. I loved them. Now as a teen, not everyone reads u know. I AM A TOTAL bookworm and I like it because what I read are only the best of books to me and others too but I want there to be a wider collection of books for the younger readers in Guyana because it was then that I picked up the love of reading, at that age, and if u don’t have good books for the kidees to read, how do u expect them to develop a love for reading? All kidees care about over here is gadgets and tv, not books. Books are where I find my entertainment and where I can go places I wont even visit in my lifetime. Whoopi, I am a true fan of u and hear is what I have to say with this issue. I have never seen u belittle anyone on THe View and I watch it most of the times and besides, u r older than Elisabeth and more experienced. I have seen how u respond to her questions and debates and I would say that its not like u dont like her but u r trying to tell her what u think and what is right. The View is all about u ladies and ur opinions and stuff, by the way, u have some AWESOME insights on stuff, but what Im trying to say is that u live and learn and in the process u HAVE tol listen to people that are older than u. I listen to my fwends alot because everyone has different ideas on stuff. Everyone is just waiting to pounce on u for what u say and I think u do such a great job on The VIew. Hey Whoopi, I think it has alot to do about with guts, some people are good at what they do but they do not want to go to the olympics, others only work to go there, some want to go to get fame and get no position wid it. Its just that the older athletes think that the younger ones should go and not them. Like my swimming coach, she went but she didnt get a medal and she has it in her head that because she was old she couldnt win. So she sends younger athletes. SHe says that younger athletes stand a better chance at winning than older ones and older athletes should give younger ones a chance. My opinion? Anyone shuld be able to go once ur coach and U know u are ready and u r the best, not necessarily a pro but someone who is willing to represent his or her country and do good. Being there for ur country is what matters the most, u dont have to win, because think of it this way, u DONT KNOW the other athletes around the world’s abilities compared to urs. great post whoopi love, felicia
