Everybody needs somebody! I can’t understand why some people get more bent out of shape by other people’s choices of somebodies than they do about, for example, child abuse and poverty.

The interesting thing about the link that I posted is that it shows copies of several documents, uncovered only yesterday, that show that He is underage. I’ve not seen these documents on other sites. Have you? Is the media keeping quiet about these documents so as not to offend the Chinese and upset the IOC (and the cynicism of the IOC is also a marvel to behold).

We should worry less about the winners of medals than about all the children who have been cast aside during the process of selection of the star atheletes. The cynicism of the Chinese government/sports officials is stunning. Madonna, get real. You are getting old. Stop pretending to be a teenager and start acting like a grownup. You have more money than you can possibly spend so quit horsing around on the stage in unsuitable outfits and set up a foundation to do good works. Blend into the background and let your money do the talking. Do you want to be remembered as a narcissist or as a philanthropist? Use your 50th birthday to change your life and then to change the lives of the poor or the sick for the better.
