What was your favorite book (or books) as a child?
Gee everone elses books are so much ahead of what I was reading I mean David Copperfield? wow!
Yes I did love comic books like you—Archie and Batman as well. Yes they are all gone somewhere now.
My cousin who was the same in age as me loved Batman. He was a huge fan so I saw everything Batman there was out-and the TV cartoon show and the Adam West Batman Show…..years later we went to see the first movie of Batman at the cinema and we both got really teary eyed when the BAT SIGNAL went up—haha,,,,,,,
My Father used to take me to a penny candy store every other sunday where I could get my little bag of JAW BREAKERS and my Comic Books. Good memories.
Hey what about all the Beatles memorabilia???? I even had my room wallpapered in gold and black velvet Sgt.Peppers paper.
ALL gone now—could have made some serious money and yes I wonder did these items end up somewhere down the road in someone elses hand?or just rot in the junk yard?
What was your favorite book (or books) as a child?
As a very small girl I loved my school book about
”sally and dick and spot the dog’
’ only because everyone said I looked like sally and i truly enjoyed learning how to read…..
when I was a wee bit older I loved a book I had called
”lady and the tramp”(disney)
and then the Laura Ingalls Little House Series.
I LOVED COMIC BOOKS too/
It's been one year since Obama's election. Knowing what you know now, would you change your vote?

You think thats bad—I had to borrow the $$$ from my elderly mother
and I still don’t have a hospital date that my Oral Surgeon and the Hospital can work out because he is
DOING VOLUNTEER DENTAL WORK AT A FREE CLINIC—
funded by the government
So whats that make me a 51 year old disabled nurse living on SSDI-I HAVE TO PAY??? HOW???

Yes and that is the problem—-can you see the real issues through—your ”raised spirit”?
I don’t care who ”feels good”
I want some action.

I hate this ”blame game” stuff—I have never seen a President use it as much as Obama.
The masses ”Love” Obama
It is like an hysterical frenzy
Like Clinton he is very Charismatic…
Mr.Obama- he is a good man no one wishes him any harm—-
he did not do what he said he was going to before he was in office——”transparency”—are you serious?
it’s like ”this is how it is gonna be and too bad ”I am the president”…….
I feel unsafe for the first time in my life as an American-
I can feel it in my bones his socialistic works are going to hurt this country.
The color of someones skin will not change how an office is run.
It's the Abortion Issue, Stupid, by Mr. wOw
I have always felt you either believe in the right for abortion—-or euthanesia(medical) and the Death penalty ….They are all the same they all take a human life…. or you do not……
All 3 will always be happenning if you are for it or not somewhere in the world.
For my 25 year nursing career I watched people who were so far gone in pain-everything was with-held and a morphine drip is started—-what do you call that?
I worked for a Catholic Hospital—-women came in for abortions all the time —their Docs called it a DNC—-same difference.
Death penalty—-criminals? or just all the hungry and poor and sick and elderly and abandoned that we overlook and they die ? What do you call that?
I do not think we really have a say—it happenes everyday all around us and always has and will.
Abortion is a womans right to choose-it is her body-
no one runs to the abortion clinic laughing and happy it is a hard choice.
She has to live with it not you.
Who would support all these children if they are born to parents who do not want them?
How many children have you adopted?
OR we can always put them in the ubsupervised foster system and make money off their backs by not allowing them to be adopted.
All these are personal choices when they happen in OUR lives—I do not want Government involved inthis part of my life ever.
What habit do you have that is silly, time-wasting or childish that you can't abandon?
Whoopi Goldberg Stands Behind This Man

I wrote a letter to the White House because Medicare will not pay to pull ALL my teeth that are ravaged by a disease process.(sjogrens)
I told him how medicare din’t seem to care if people had teeth or eyeglasses.Being a Nurse I know how many other issues that can create-like falls/bad nutrition etc….
I got a reply—asking me for a money donation?
After I just told him I didn’t have 4000.00 to have my teeth pulled.
Then in the mail I got a ”nurses for health reform button""
I kid you not—-I mean don’t read our mail—or read it—but do not laugh in my face…..they must just push a button for replies…….
What is the bravest thing you have ever done?
For me I knew I could handle anything when I had to walk into my fathers funeral alone.
I am single and was about 43 then.
I had just been diagnosed with an awful disease and had to walk on forearm crutches.
I really felt all alone for the first time.
Now when I think back I am feeling kind of proud that I handled it all so well.
