I still cannot comprehend the thought that RL is a ‘commedian’?  I have seen and heard it many times, am I getting confused with someone else who is actually funny?

He is definitely NOT a talk show host, or radio talk host, or someone who seems to be serious about world and national affairs.

Please somebody tell me is he actually being paid to be funny?

Well, if he is getting payment for humor, somebody better ask for their money back!

Obama is such a pleasant change from the clown GWB.  I am as proud of him as I was embarassed and ashamed of GWB.  Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks spoke the truth about her embarassment that GWB is from Texas, because millions more are embarassed that he is from the USA.

President Obama in his eloquence,  brought a glimmer of hope and instilled confidence that he has a plan and that together we will climb out of this mess that GWB left us and return to our status as a world power who is respected and revered by the rest of the world. There is so much to hope for and work toward in a country as blessed as this one and President Obama has given us back that hope that we will be able to reclaim our dream and continue to live it out for a lifetime.  God Bless Him. I love the Dixie Chicks, most especially since their little brew-ha-ha with GWB!  I lived for eight years of my life, feeling so ashamed to call myself American!  It was appalling!

Now, I can actually say I love my country, again!  Not just because gWb was President, but all he allowed and caused to happen to MY country!  To elect our first black man as President also was a major experience for America.  I hope I am still alive when we elect our first Female President!  Hillary? or a good Democratic woman!

I was so proud of the Dixie Chicks being strong enough to share their thoughts and feelings at the time.  And, look all they have endured because of it!

Thank you for your good words.  I do so support them, and "second" your thoughts on the issue.  I love the confidence President Obama instills in the people, as well.

I do understand.  The "Other Side" like; "The Twilight Zone" - or, "The Outer Limits" types, are hovering over like Buzzards, picking apart the bodies… It has just gotten so unreasonable.  I remember talking down about "their" party, too - but, I thought for legitimate reasons.  You know; like selling out OUR country, Bribery, Sexual Misconduct, Illicit-illegal business dealings, and taking us to a war which should have never happened.

Now, (They) are accusing the Dems of the same kinds of behaviors.  If it were true I wouldn’t mind so much.  What, one or two people in the whole batch messed up?  It is just a lost cause, and only creates more and more anger and division.
This site is not much fun anymore, because of the vile spewing of hatred.  Having Palin and Coulter questions and discussions has only brought about a huge divide!

So, I guess moderation is the only viable answer.

Right now, Hillary is exactly what we need as Sec of State.  She is definitely strong and bold enough to stand her ground with whomever, and, she is intelligent enough to know when not to press an issue.  Good balance of diplomacy and strength.  You go Hillary!

Barack is also exactly who we need as President, right now.  It all worked out in a way which I had not anticipated, initially.  Of course, I wanted Hillary for President - but, Barack would not be a good Sec. of State.  Joe Biden would have been, however…

A democratic congress and a Senator who voted “present” over 100 times voted “present” on this reform bill. The bill never got a second look. All the dems had their eyes on the 2008 election while our housing market spiraled down. And, these are the same people who just spent in less than one month more money than George Bush spent on the war. Not true in the context of being the problem.  

Doh!The Dems couldn’t get anything passed bc of the majority, initally.  Then, as the majority couldn’t get anything passed because of the obstruction tactics being used by the OTHER side!  Get all the facts, not simply your desired facts. 

If people repeat these lies and partial truths over and over again, does that mean it becomes truth?  Whatever you decide becomes truth?  Doh!

Spending Bills on primarily infrastucture, are the only way right now to get our economy going again, after the debacle of the past eight years.  Doh!

In the first two years of Office, Mr. Bush and bad policies and company of millionnaires, sold us out big time, to the wealthy, and to China, Japan, and whomever else would buy up our loans for the friggin’ unnecessay war!!

Has anyone yet found where the approx. $60 Billion dollars went, which was somehow ‘lost’ in Iraq?  You know, that money which was laying around in plastic bags and such…

WHAT??? this is REALLY stretching the truth big time!
