The way I view Ann Coulter:   1.  She is so filled with hatred she doesn’t even realize how ugly she sounds.  She gets off on putting people down, being disparaging and mocking others.

2.  Ann is a woman who is so bent on making a name for herself she has done it the vilest, most dispicable way possible; by spewing out hate speech, putting others down if they disagree with her, all the while pasting a dead pan expression on her face, with no apparent feeling on any given subject.

3.  Behaving and sounding like she is super intelligent, with only specific talking points which are repeated by her enough to make it seem like she knows what she is talking about; as an expert about whatever issue she wishes to spew out from a very narrow, slanted point of view.

4.  Hateful, hateful, hateful.

You know this, how? It seems to me that President Obama during military briefing got some new intell on Afghanistan, and we need more troops there because of all the mess going on with Kirkhastan, and Pakistan.

Until President Obama is able to get more perspective on things, and get this country under better financial footing there isn’t a lot more that can be done.

Good grief, he’s only been President for a month.  It took the previous one only a few short months to muck up the country, it is going to take awhile for this President to restore it back to health.

As I understand regarding the guantanamo prison, most of the people left are not such a serious threat - we just don’t know where to send them.  And, there seems to be the issue of some countries still not wanting them back.  Thanks a lot georgie!!!

I can’t wait until our first openly Lesbian President!  Yay! We do have a few openly g/l people in congress - some who are not so open… so why not a Lesbian President?  It will take care of the First Woman President, issue as well.

It is a sorry day as the Kennedy Brothers are nearly gone.  Teddy has been an exemplary spokesperson for John and Bobby, and a pillar for the entire Kennedy tribe.  I feel grateful to have lived and gotten to experience each one as they have contributed well, to the life and journey of this great country.

It is only fitting, I believe to salute Ted Kennedy for all the years he has given us, and all the positive he has done as a Senator, and as a human being.

Of course, we acknowledge he made a mess of things when he was younger.  I don’t know what else to say, except, I feel certain his has been a heavy cross to bear.  He carried it well, however.

Such a life of dedication to both his family and his country.  I am grateful for him.

And seriously, I’ve heard so many people sniff at the “$13.00 dollars a week” but when your unemployment check is only $214.00 a week as it is for a top earner here in Arizona that money allows me to buy a couple of proteins and more veggies every week, hopefully keeping medical bills at bay. It is becoming more and more obvious there are some here who simply want to denigrate Dems for the sake of denigrating them. Not, because of any real issue - just a political ploy.

After eight years of the mess which brought us into THIS MESS why are people so willing to point fingers at Dems. when in reality it was all about blocking Dems from getting the job done, in the first place.

Democrats are the party who builds from the ground up. Republicans are the party who uses the trickle down theory which was started with Reagan.  REmember "Reagomics" anyone?  It was horrible.  He was NOT a good president, he was just a friendly guy that people liked.  The good ol’ cowboy on TV, stuff.

Now, we are saddled with the likes of that type of economics.  I suppose if you like Corporate Welfare, it is a good idea.  If you like that these corporations continue to be out of control financially, it is a good idea.  If you like that the CEO’s are now billionaires, it is a good idea.

If you enjoy equal pay for equal work, and fair jobs and salaries.  And, if you like that the foundation of the nation is built from hard work and healthy living.  Then, you should be supporting the efforts of Obama.

It isn’t really all that difficult to figure it out, folks.  It is simply about being honest and open to the people of this country.  It has been an honorable nation.  It can be once again.  It really is up to WE the PEOPLE to keep it this way!

I am happy to have MY country BACK and am willing to do whatever it takes to KEEP it!

He was handed this mess as he said, from the Bush administration. When Clinton left office he handed over to Bush a government that was fiscally sound and solid. He gave him a nation that was respected, loved and admired by the world. And in less than 8 years you are living in the midst of George Bush’s failure to our country. Every time you walk down your street past vacant and boarded up homes, it should remind you of his failure to you.

So continue to write sarcastic, witty diatribes about your community and feelings about what President Obama needs to see. Very well written Belinda!  Why do you suppose some people just can’t see the forest for the trees?  Damn!  After all the messes of the past 8 years they still want to lay the blame on the Dems.  -  It just doesn’t wash!  No matter how one tries to lay it out, there is just no credible reason to put the blame on Dems.  And, unfortunately, they do not want to accept the truth.

I would not press this issue so much if it weren’t for the past eight years of the Bush Adm. selling out America. taking us to a needless war, allowing all his cronies and billionaire buddies to increase their wealth on HIS watch!  And, allowing our good military to be slaughtered along with thousands and thousands of innocent Iraqi’s.

Now, we are all faced with the results of the careless abandon of the past eight years, with the congress locked into place with the President, and the neo cons going to extremes to make their views known and their efforts to gain power and control of the country.

Damn, when are people going to finally get it?  It was a very intentional take over of our government and our financial institutions, and our military - it seems to me this is called a coup d’tat in other countries.  Or just a simple coup - whichever way one looks at it.

Now, we have to start over again and clean up the messes… Of course, it is the next phase to put it all in the laps of the Dems who are finally, now, in power in congress.  Maybe we can actually get something. FINALLY!

Of course I expect some will still want to lay blame on the Dems.  What can we expect?  No one really wants to take credit when there is a huge mess as we are in now!  FUM DUCKS!
