I am from Southern CA so I was shocked at what went on. I too was young but I had to stick to my beliefes My father was the only one that understood what and why I was marching.. He even drove me.. My mother and other family members were also very unhappy.. My choice, My belief My happiness. GOD BLESS the OBAMA FAMILY

This morning I watched CNN with three of my grandchildren. I cried last night when it was annouced and I celebrate today knowing that my grandchildren have a chance. I was also pleased to hear how much they understood.. They are 16,10 and 4 of course the 4 year old does not grasp it well. but the other wo filled my heart I am always PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN. Today I am excited about CHANGE..

Penny, I remeber it all. What a wonderful time this is for America. now maybe people will except that we are ALL the same here.. I was alittle part of civil rights.. As a white girl in that time I was frowned on.. Didn’t care.. Today I celebrate…. God Bless our new President… CHANGE IS GREAT

Lynn Marie, Thank you for sharing this. I do hope your health is better. I to have had some of the same fears I had a major stroke in 2004 and was not really able to understan why people were crying. I do now.. Thank for you view.. I am behind it.. My writing is not always good as I get confussed.. HUMAN KINDESS IS NEEDED FOR SURE

Reading what you all are saying still makes me think.. Will my grandchildren have a nice world.. Will this SKY scare leave… I understand the uncertain feeling here my little ones.. Thank you for sharing this with the world. As a person that has had two strokes that jelly rolled my right side and 2 TIA’s I am going to be going out and finding this book to read. I have been blessed that I am about 97% recoverd. My only issue is my memory my arms and legs work good and I owe a lot of my recovery to the Love I have recieved from my Husband and Daughter. They cheered on my determination and my joy for life. I use my fathers line ” Failure is not an option” [ He died of cancer in 1995 but fought all the way through his illnes on AML.] I will continue to fight for my well being everyday I have 9 grandchildren to watch grow up My you be blessed with continued health and laughter.

Working for TWA as a gate agent I was lucky enough to meet a few.. Tony Orlando, Phyllis Diller, Joan Van Ark.,John Goodman, Tanya Tucker[ she is a hoot]. Being a gate agent was great

I enjoy just sitting and looking at the net like I am now. If I could I would go out dancing everynight Since I can not do that I dance and clean at the same time. While my husband is at work I enjoy the time I have alone. As a recovered stroke victim I live everyday and am greatful… I have been blessed to recover to about 97%.. My husband tells me he is proud of my determination… I can walk, talk sing and Dance… Thanks be to the One on High… Everyday is MY TIME
