No surprise that Bush is the sitting duck when all of this happens. Every thing that man has been a part of in his life smells and he should have been impeached long ago. Hi Margo, Thanks for stopping by and weighing in. Very succinct point here. It has pained me to watch the Couric interview of Sarah Palin. I’m sure it was very difficult for Katie to take in what she was hearing in the moment. I have held a lot of anger over the past few weeks regarding McCain’s VP choice, the GOP usurping the term “change” and the desultory campaign they have been running. The Republicans have done more to set women back than anything I have ever witnessed. hmmm. big surprise. They’ve taken down the economy with their policies for the past 8 years and now insulted the intelligence of women. I can’t believe what a laughingstock America must be in the eyes of the world.

Total collapse. What other way is there to reshape the entire system and start over? When a house is falling apart in disrepair, the usual course of action is to knock it down and build a new one. The analogy is useful. I hate to see what a devastated world we’d be in economically if we don’t fix this, but I sure don’t like the idea of plugging up the hemorrhaging with middle class money. We’ve been screwed long enough by Republican policy that favors greed. The house of cards needs to fall so that we can rebuild.

Well, well, well. Truth says that it’s McCain’s running mate that should drop out and it has been speculated by many that he should get her off of his ticket. Of course, what do we actually read about the next morning??? that it’s Obama’s running mate, Joe Biden. What in the name of (insert your deity here) is going on? McCain’s campaign is completely falling apart and his stunts aren’t working. I’m sure these rumors are the handiwork of his grand architect of the McPhailin’ campaign. His grand dash to D.C. to rescue of the bailout plan isn’t working and his running mate being allowed a few treasured moments with the press isn’t working. Maybe we should tell everyone that Joe Biden is ill? McCain is starting to look like one of those guys in Central Park who put your quarter under one of three cups and twirl them around each other…can you find the candidate?
