My avatar is a painting by Sheila Cotton titled At Home in the World. It used to hang in my mothers dining room, it now hangs in mine. It is about 5 feet wide and 2 1/2 feet high (so the avatar is only part of it) but it means a lot to me. My mother loved this painting. Isn’t it wonderful to hear from Edith/Lily/Jane!!!

I’m hoping it’s vacation or work but in any scenario he’d be a welcome sight. Maybe he just “Stepped Away from the BLOG!” ;-}

About the conversations section… This is the first place I ever blogged and there are lots of other sites I’m sure but I chose this one because of the interaction with people I admire. Did you notice the contest with Peggy Rometo “invite your friends” and the wOw staff asking us to Buzz Up on the John McCain/Debate thread? So they’re looking for more “players”. WOWOWOW STAFF, James has some excellent ideas and it would be nice to “see” more of our celebs. Mind you Lily & Jane are active and keep me here.

Frank where are you? Finally found this in the archives in an effort to track you down. I really miss you on wOw… I went off for a while but have been back for a couple weeks. When Diana T makes a comment I expect to see you. Hope you’re okay.

If my husband goes on a business trip I get him to turn the TV on before he leaves…. and it doesn’t go off…. he’s added so many features it takes 4, count ‘em FOUR, remotes to watch TV!!!! God forbid I want to watch a DVD OMG I might not get back to “TV”!!!! Fear, sweat, anxiety… and then there’s texting, and now I lay me down to sleep…….
