Thank you Liz, those words needed to be said and said by a wOw woman! I agree that a little patience is required to grasp the full picture. My head has been spinning, every time I log on I’m seeing threads go from 103 comments to 312 to 598!!!! Ah the good old early days when I could read the whole site in one sitting. I’ve noticed we’ve picked up a couple trolls along the way and hope that they will be (I think the term is) bozoed. When I come across one I feel like I’ve just been rear ended (which is a trolls sole purpose and therefore I try not to respond directly to them). All things considered there are very few which is amazing. I’m with Rocky Rocky… this site is my indulgence for myself and have really enjoyed meeting so many articulate, clever, funny, robust women (and men, Frank and James especially).

Well joan I’m afraid you did dignify the question with an answer and I’m so glad you did. My knee jerk reaction was the same as yours and then I read Stars’ answer and Franks’ answer and James’ answer and Dianes’ answer… well you get the jist. You are right, you must be comfortable in your own skin before you can have a relationship (man woman husband friend). It’s not a matter of trying to “please” someone but wanting to enhance the relationship within reasonable/comfortable boundaries.

My Lord, thank goodness I found wOw!! I have to admit I was totally smitten with Sarah tonight… what a speach! But I knew I could count on our contributors here to illuminate and expand on (and OMG supply links to) more info. As a Canadian I can’t vote in your election but your outcome has an effect on not just me but a global impact. Your country is in such dire straights and how you deal with it has a profound impact on the future (think chaos theory).
