McCain doen’t give specifics during his speaches but comparing the published plans of both candidates- Obama’s is better for the majority of Americans. McCains is better for very wealthy. If I knew for sure that Palin would never become president I wouldn’t be this concerned. Palin scares me I don;t want her to inflict her beliefs upon my family. This is not a smear but a fact.

I don’t understand it either. But it seems to me some women will negate their own views just to vote for a woman. Others say they are voting for McCain/Palin because they will feel safer with McCain even though he is showing signs of senility. Palin knows very little about anything outside of Alaska. DeBurca- Suzane, Diana - Keep up the good work!!! I read a theory - that the religeous right sees Sarah Palin as being persecuted for her religeous beliefs. Even though the issues are political - religion is at the core of this issue. I think the reason we keep coming back to her is because McCain has become a none issue, along with real issues. She keeps giving the same scripted speech as does he. . We seem to be presenting “facts” ours and theirs. Perri- . Whoopi tries to see all sides. I am sure it takes courage for her to speak up. We have so much pressure on the news media. The right wing conservatives seem to be more organized - they have control of the media even though they continue to say the media is biased. Although Sarah Palin is running for VP, due to McCains age she should be looked at very carefully for she may become president. Whoopi- I was shocked to see Elizabeth Hasselback - bashing Michelle Obama at the RNC luncheon for Cindy McCain. She used private info from the View- John McCain is not the man he used to be and Sarah Palin could be president. Republicans have started a war between intellectuals elitetist and the “common folk” no thought just straight talk- “my friend” I am working for you. Linda P. You are a rumor monger. I have the book Audacity of hope and have read all of Obama’s books. I do not agree with Sarah Palins views - Sarah Palin herself has expressed - her conservative point of view is objectionable to me. I don’t care about affairs, pregnant teenagers and any other portion of her personal life. I don’t want her to be my president. McCain does not look well and more than likely she will be president. She is not well educated and foriegn affairs experience.. Palin has even elevated herself above McCain in experience and has lied about Obama’s .
