I did not lie.  The bill does not cover illegal immigrants or abortion.  The bill was ammended to add a requirement for proof of citizenship.

My point is the door is all ways open no matter what you do -  There is no wording that says abortion or illegal immigrants are covered in the bill.   Don’t throw   the   baby    out with the bath water.   Just because there is no guarantee that your identity won’t be stolen- do you not bank on line, shop or pay bills?  So it is with health care reform. 

 Private insurance covers illegal immigrants and abortion now.   If people pay for the insurance why not let them have it?  

Half a billion coming out of medicare has nothing to do with patient  care.  The insurance companies are double dipping when patients have the so called advantage plans.  People have both employer based private insurance and medicare. 

So give the death panel a rest.

Yes there are crazies on both sides of the spectrum.   I am surprised that you are a democrat even though you by your previous posts consider yourself a conservative.  You always agree with the extreme right wing posters on this site. 

I said you posted horrible things and that was/ is how I receive your statement that people on welfare are sucking the air out of society and do not contribute anything so let them perish.   You are tired of paying taxes for "yous".   You say that you support health care reform and I assume it is in the area of Tort reform and buying insurance across state lines with a voucher.  You are against the public option are any form of "government" ran health care. 

You recount stories about college professors who proposed everyone would get the same grade- those who studied and those who didn’t. ( right wing e-mail )  Liberals study and work hard. We value our families and strive for excellence. We pay taxes .   We believe that things happen and sometimes help is needed.   Government provides for its people.  Churches a d local charities fill in the cracks.   

 When I hear your stories (urban legends) about a - Person having 5 children while drawing government dole-  illegal immigrants drawing Social SEcurity etc etc.  People on welfare who sit on their butts while the taxpayers buy them cars, cell phones etc.   (what state is that?)   Sounds like fraud.

Progressives are a proud group and will defeat the right wing extremists.  Conservatives should continue to speak out against the Limbaughs, Hannity’s and Becks.   We need to get the country back on track for the good off everyone. 

I am trying to understand the conservative or Republican platform.    It is not what the current crop of repubicans are spewing.  They lie.   There are no death panels or funds for abortion but that does not stop them.  The illegal immigrants were not included in the original bill. 

They have endless "facts" provided by Fox News .  Cato Institute and other right wing groups provide biased data that is passed off as non-partisan data.

You think every liberal is one of thecrazies.  I want democrats to develop a spine and stop all this bipartisan baloney.  Right wingers don’t want health care reform or any other kind of reform.  They keep wanting to go back to a

 world that never existed.  They never saw a war they didn’t like.   If you have no job or health insurance it is your fault.   The Right Wing response is "here are places you can go to get help. " Or like you said your neighbors can take care of you. 

Republicans have been fighting liberals agressively.  Calling the President a liar.  Accusing liberals of holding death panels and all sorts of horrible things. 

We have been debating health care reform for many years and there is no need to wait any longer.  We have a wealth of data - and it is obvious that intervention is needed- Insurance Companies have not and will not do the right thing.

Work place romances are what they are -   Letterman has not been accused of sexual harrassment.    Letterman and his wife will sort through things and it is no one elses business.

Letterman is not a clergyman or an elected official.   He owes us nothing but a good show.

Once again Liz Peek the right wing cheer leader of doom and gloom.   AMERICA lost the bid for the olympics and the RIGHT WING CHEERED.  They turned the loss into a positive.  Obama loss. 

The Jobs are being held hostage by the usual suspects .  The same people who OUTSOURCED them.  Not only did they outsource the jobs they imported labor by saying not enough QUALIFIED  American workers. 

The center of the Republican party is now timidly fighting the crazies and I wish them luck.  I truly hope they can take back their party.  IT will be the salvation of us all.  This anit-governent and anti-Obama movement is not  good for the country.

I watched all interviews , John King, David Gregory and John King.  They all asked the same questions.  ACORN .   He said they should be investigated.   So the ACORN business caused no big boom.

Stephanopoulos is never meek.  Right wingers have trouble understanding civility.  Congress is dealing with ACORN.  All Repulicans are circling like a bunch of sharks.   I am glad the President told him he had more important things to think about.
