Deber,   Contrary to your belief- other stations report news.   I agree Fox news is more distorted and more entertainging to you.  You love it if they can possibly turn any story about the Obama’s into a negative.  Cool your jets.  You’ve got 3 more years at least.  Don’t count on the birthers.  

It is funny how the right wing never lets the facts get in the way of making an ugly story out of somehting very postive.

Diane has earned her credos but her beauty was a key issue.  Beauty plays a roll in everything.  Ugly people are convicted and given harsher sentences than beautiful people.

The news media is in flux.  People get news in a variety of ways.  Newspapers and Magazines are folding.   There is a 24/7 news cycle.   I watch cable but I tune into local news channels for news around my state or town.  

I am surprised at how quickly national news outlets pick up local news especially sensational stories.  

C/ Hardy,  The birthers are active and still trying to get the President removed.  This movement can not accept President Obama  and since they started during the election it must be a personal issue. 

Perhaps Deber will think about that the next time she tells us about President Obama’s Poll ratings.

Phyllis,  This E-mail has been sent to me for the last several years by my conservative friends.    This is the continuing push to change the constitution to end separation of church and state.   Right wingers in the evangelical movement want to exert political clout and still keep their tax exempt status that as it currently stands prohibits them from being involved politically.  Churches are now flaunt the law and are engaging in politics.  The IRS is left to fight the battle of churches who violate the tax exempt requirements.

We have private christian schools that are available.   Prayer is encouraged in church.    All religions are not christian.  Therefore we are not a Christian Nation we are made up of many religions.

Deber watches the same polls that Fox news used during the election that alsways showed President Obama loosing.  Rasmussen which is a conservative outfit alwyas ranks him lower.  Fox news conducts polls with their viewing audience and we all know what their audience consists of .  

I feel confident that the American people are wathcing and will figure this thing out.  They did when they elected President Obama and not McCain/Palin.  Choosing Palin doomed McCain.

Margo,  Excellent post.   I remember the glow of election night, we  elected our  first black president .   I thought the Birthers and Fox News would stop the personal attacks.   

Fox News not only reports but supports the right wing agenda.    Glen Beck has declared war on the President of the United States.   Tea Baggers have declared war on the government.

Whether it is racial or political they are making it almost impossible for anyone to lead the country.   Eric Holder said we are cowards when it comes to talking about race.   Has anyone changed their position since we have had this discussion ?
