C Hardy,  You can not or will not understand Margo’s article.  I am sure by now she is tired of hearing you say that she accused all southerners of being uneducated and that anyone who complains about President Obama is a racist.  That is not all what she said.

Polls have shown that the majority of negative feelings toward President Obama are from the south.  More Southerners believe that he is not a citizen.  That same poll shows that many of these same respondents don’t believe that Hawaii is a part of the United States.  This leads people to believe that these people perhaps are not as educated.  

Hearing some of the Tea Party people discuss issues that they don’t really understand would lend credence to a lack of education.

The Southern states have a history that they are trying to get past.  Poverty and lack of education is more evident in the poor rural communities in the South.   Now please- I am not saying just because you are poor and live in the south you are racist.

After reading your posts -It is hard to determine why you having difficulty with understanding the issues that we face. Maybe it is your definition of racism.  You seem angry as do many of the other posters that you feel discriminated against either by Blacks or other miniorities and not supported by your government.

You refuse to accept facts when presented by anyone other than the right wing.  You continue to say the President lied when all fact checking organizations said he did not.  You continue to support death panels and can not seem to understand why a bi-racial President with brown skin did not run as a white candidate.  Tiger Wood is bi-racial and the media insisted he be black - because that is the color of his skin. Somethings are just what they are.   Most people are not aware that they are racist and resent being called one.  We all have certain biases.    If we don’t like a person because of things that they do or the way they act then you just don’t like the person.  But if you don’t like them because they are black the that is racist.  But sometimes it is hard to tell the difference.

We can agree on that.   But Rush Limabaugh, Beck , Hannity and coulter don’t agree.  They say he should not be in the Republican party and posters on this site said such vile things about him.  Colin Powell is a true conservative and represents the true Republican party.   Republicans have let the retardicans take over.

Why do you keep promoting the site ?   It is laughable and so fake.

 No one else views this a lie but right wingers with a bone to pick about illegal immigrants.  You are talking semantics. You could say that about anything in the bill and you are.  The next big fight is abortion.  Some private insurance covers abortion.  So your side will say that even though it says no funds can be used for abortion- the right wing says that if low income people get an insurance subsidy and sign up for private insurance and not the public option- and they pick a private insurance that pays for abortions then you will call the president a liar when he says no funds for abortions.  I guess they could make insurance companies that are included in the co-op say they won’t pay for abortions.  What a pity for poor people. 

Republicans oppose health care reform period. 

Everyone now will have to go through a cumbersome extra step of providing proof of citizenship.  What would that be a birth certificate.   I think it was enough to say that no one in the country illegally would be elgible for care.  There were other ways that would provided this information.   There is not about illegal immigration reform. 

No we don’t agree-  I don’t want people going to the ER for treatment.  I want them insured and seeing their doctor.  ER is the most costly treatment available and we the taxpayers foot the bill.  Why not get them insured they pay for it.

Scarlett, You sound as exasperated as blacks do when white people won’t them to stop complaining.   You can speak out all you want.  How has your life been affected by racism toward you by Blacks?  Were you denied employment,housing, a loan or memberhip at a country club because you were white? 

Blacks based on their birth rate will continue to be the minority.  Hispanics are the largest minority.  Most scholars believe racism will end as the bi-racial population increases .  Many racist fear that the white race will disappear and we will all be a shade of brown. 

Scarlet,  Many of our elected officials choose to utter words and act in ways that do not bring honor to our government.  It seems that we are selective in our condemnation.  Beck specializes in going after anyone he deems politically progressive or Liberal.  Right Wingers are exempt.  Joe Wilson is supportive of the confederate movement which does not represent the majority view of the citizens of South Carolina.   The state wants to move on.   He also made statements about the illegitmate child that Sen. Thurmond had with a black woman.  He felt that the woman should have confirmed her birth because having a black child brought dishonor to Thurmond.  This is a racist statement.  If the child had been white would it have been ok? 

Mr. Jones looks like a choir boy compared   to government officials on both sides of the house.  Beck is looking for new targets in the Obama administration- to keep the administration from moving forward with their agenda.   Beck looks so ignorant when he talks about CZARS.   Republicans stand on the floor of the senate and condem CZARS when they praised the them  when Republican Administration had them. .   This type of propaganda is hypocritical.

Phylis , thanks for the info.  You are full of good info.  I remember data but forget about the links.   I can’t understand why more anger is not directed where it belongs . It seems to me that people should be contacting their elected representative to compain about bank lending practices.  

Institutional greed is what has us in this pedicament.  As we said in the begining enough blame to go around.   The American people, our elected officials and the greedy instituions are all to blame.  Now where do we start? 

It is not marching on washington shouting I won’t may country back, down with socialism and calling  for Obamacare to be buried with Kennedy.

I am dismayed when people fail to do  the most rudimentary attempt at   factual  research .  They are spoon fed drival from Fox News along with Rush, Beck and Hannity. 

I am disappointed in both political parties.  The Republicans for being obstructionists and the Democrats for being spineless and assuming that people would not fall for such presposterous mis-information.  Boy were they wrong.  Sorry about the rant.
