Has anyone read the 1100-page Health Care Reform Bill?  Yes.  My elected representative also has read it.   The things that most people are showing concern over are not in the bill. What ever happened to checks and balances?  It is still here.  Not everyone is on the lunatic fringe but there are too many lunatics who are being used to protest something they have no understanding of. 

We have been trying to pass health care reform for the past 40 years and the clock is running out.  It is breaking the country.  Our President can’t slow down.  In order to get the deficit under control and restore the economy we must get our costs for health care down.  Medicare and Medicaid are two of our largests espenses as a country.

Why do you keep doing this?  Most people with half a brain knows that this site can’t possibly be a supporter of Obama.  By the way I guess I was wrong about you.    Is this your web site ?

Lauren,  I agree that not all people are racists and many people have concerns.   In looking at your response it contains some errors.  President Obama has been president for 8 months not a year.  You should be angry with the banks and by the way since you don’t want government intervention what are you belly aching for?

Harriet,  Thanks for speaking up.  I think it is disrespectful to your country to use your health care system as a scare tactic to prevent health care reform in this country.

The problem is the electorate is increasingly mis-informed .  The right wing now owns the Wall Street Journal and has a cable station solely devoted to the right wing agenda.  The main stream media has been bashed so much for being the liberal media that it is hard to tell with the exception of MSNBC being more liberal. 

Beck, Hannity and Rush, along with Foxnews promoted the Freedom Works Tea Bag party movement.

I still don’t know what the issues are.    I keep hearing that the country has been hijacked, the constituion overturned and the country turned socialists  withing the last 8 months.   And now the Right wing is fighting to overthrough the Obama administration.  Sounds a bit like treason.   What are the issues?

I was a child when Eisenhower was president and people joked about all he did was play golf.  History has shown  - he deserved more credit. 

The only evidence would be his associations with neo-confederate organizations.
