well I believe all of you have missed the point, im not bitter my brother is going to fight if I could pass a physical I would fight along side him, It would be the greatest honor to fight for the ideals this country was founded upon. As far as Sarah Palin using this song, gimme a break did she or did she not purchase the album. Does she profit FINANCIALLY each time it is played NO… radio stations, movies, corporations using song to entice you to purchase a product are the people that owe rights as they are all profiting from the artists’ material. as a vote is cast freely there stands to be no FINANCIAL gain therefore it is a factual statement not a matter of opinion while I am running for mayor or any other public office I will now make it a point to play the best of heart album I purchased probably 10 years ago everywhere I go despite what Nancy Wilson thinks…….

Music is supposed to be made for the people not ones self haven’t you Kitty O’Keefe ever had a song that fit a time in your life and you thought of it as kind of a theme song, with that being said how would have you felt if when you played it for friends you were told that it was stealing ( it made you feel good, it pumped you up for the big game), now the artist that you are a huge fan of says because I don’t like you although I dont know you and you payed for my album you have to pay me again….and by the way the divorce rate is climbing read the census every once in a while..

I seems that you all are not READING my statements, It is a miss-use of an American Duty to cast a miss-informed, or un-informed vote, I dont personally care who you are going to vote for all I ask is that you do not make your choice based on a comment made by a celebrity, since when did being a talk show host or a movie star automatically make you a political genius.. Therefore I think that you should re-read my comment, and take it for what it really is….just know why your voting for who you are voting for….

Laurie, The thing that scares me the most about this country it is how easy people are swayed by miss informed celebs, especially those whom are not from this country.Look, poverty, starving children, homelessness, unemployment are issues both dems and republicans can agree that need change, however too many people that I encounter on a day to day basis are very miss informed. I was outraged by the Americans who were applauding this man. not so much by his outrageous comments.American issues are best kept between American people.

I believe that the laws for copyright infringement are as follows, and the girls from Heart should know this, (a artist to be compensated for each time a song, painting, video, ext. is used to profit FINANCIALLY, keyword FINANCIALLY. Listen to a song. if Nancy Wilson doesn’t like me that means every time I play one of her songs loud enough for anyone else to hear it I owe her extra money, the only way Palin could be held accountable for anything is if she stole the song from Napster. Why oh why do people put so much stock in what the hollywood elite have to say about this country. after all the bulk of this elite are drug addicted, and if not that I would like to see a statistic for what the divorce rate for actors and musicians, before I personally take stock in anything they have to say about Palin’s family values………If you vote based on anything Micheal Moore, Bill Mahr, or David Letterman say do this county a favor and stay away from the polls in November….Please!!!!!!!
