I heard about this site last year on Charlie Rose, and I have enjoyed it very much.

I love hearing thoughts and opinions of a wide variety of people, it certainly expands my world.

When the name-calling and rudeness starts, I just scroll through.

There are too many intelligent and thoughtful posts to enjoy to let the awful ones keep me away.

A call for something positive! What has made you laugh lately? (A book, a movie, a show, a joke?)

What makes me laugh? Almost any skit with Carol Burnett, Tim Conway and Harvey Corman.

Mary Wells Prefers Paper With Coffee

I am going through withdrawal pangs because I don’t have my morning paper to read with my coffee. The paper no longer delivers to our area, and I’m trying to adjust to reading online, but it’s just not the same. I will adjust, even though I’m 78 years old, retired and I like my creature comforts.
