She is not "trying" to justify her smoking to anyone, least of all you.  She’s saying she has made her choice to smoke - She can smoke if she wants to, she will quit if she wants to.  It’s not up to you to judge.  

Spring peepers, ducks, various birds, geese, dogs, cats, cars and the "wonderful" smell of freshly spread manure on the corn field across the street.  Sometimes I have to close the windows when the manure smell is too strong. 

I tend to agree with you Linda.  Kelly gave a very poor impression of herself, all by herself, she needed no ones help with that.  She was rude, condescending and acts like a bored little child.  Her "attack" on Bethenny was the strangest thing I’ve seen in awhile.  I don’t think anyone could make any sense of what she was trying to say.  I’m not a  reality tv fan, and there’s alot more worthwhile things on tv to be watching, but this intrigued me because these women are so over the top, with Kelly   acting like she’s the female "cock of the walk".  I do not care for anyone who acts so dismissively of other people, and when it’s a woman, it makes me all the more angry.  I know a few women that have a similar personality to Kellys, and after one conversation with them, I will not waste any more of my time on them.  I felt that Jill was probably the most "normal" , or genuine of all these women.  And man- that newly decorated apartment of hers…. that a whole other story….

Women rock. That’s all there is to it.  I love my husband, men are wonderful, definitely, but my women friends- my daughters, my sis, my mom, are the best.

I’m an old school Fleetwood Mac fan, I much prefer Christine McVie.  Not to knock Ms. Nicks, I really loved the original/older music of FM.

I got smiles, hugs and kisses today, just what I wanted!

My Mother and I are like oil and water, unfortunately. I’m 52, and it’s just been the last 15 years or so that we became friends. It’s not that we hate each other, by any means, we just don’t have that special kind of relationship. Now that both my folks are over 75 and my Mother’s health is very compromised, the issue has been heavy on my mind. I have 2 siblings that are either unable/unwilling to take either in if need be, so that will be my responsibility. My husband and I have said in a heartbeat we would have either of them live with us if they needed to. I just don’t know what would happen with our relationship. My husband’s father would never want to live with us. He is a male chauvinist and has never been very respectful of my daughters and me. I’m not what he considers his ideal daughter-in-law! Plus he’s a grumpy old pain in the ass!

Do you women honestly think that you will convert someone from the “other side” to what you believe -if you spout enough insults and quote enough text? Can’t you agree to disagree instead of being hateful, rude and ugly with each other? Some things will never change because of people’s beliefs- and this is one of them. Hatred is one thing that we an change, however, and it sounds like there’s alot of hatred in these words written here.

A woman wants what SHE wants, and she’s responsible for attaining it. She does not need to read what a man thinks she wants, but this is so typical. I don’t care what anyone says, it is still a male dominated society/world.

I think she can be hilarious, so I’m curious- what do you think that says about me? As far as little children listening, I wouldn’t allow them to watch her, She’s strictly for adults, obviously. I guess i am just not uptight about profanity, around adult people. I do, however understand it offending people, but it just isn’t a big issue with me. I think she does have talent and a quick wit even when she’s not being her crude self.

I don’t know who could fill Audrey Hepburns’ shoes in that classic role, maybe Hathaway, maybe not. I’d definitely go a Moonlighting movie in a nanosecond, it was one of my favs ever.

You know, the thing was when I was lying there on that table, I wasn’t even thinking of my breast, i was thinking of my life- that I am not anywhere near finished with it yet! You are so right - we are so much more than our bodies.

I’ve got a brand new lease on life after the radiologist gave me the all clear after my breast ultrasound this afternoon! Can’t stop smiling.
