"If he has all the answers, let him set them in motion." Isn’t that what he is doing??? "We are patiently waiting." Really?

"Stop whining.." The one things President Obama is not, is a whiner. He is a "can do" guy who discusses the issues thoughtfully and is not afraid to work. Unlike Limbaugh who in fact is the only whiner in this story.

"what was said (paraphrased) is if Obama wants to lead this country into socialism, then I hope he fails." I don’t see how that changes the context of Margo’s comments. Limbaugh making extremist and foolish comments offering no other solutions than to make unfounded claims.

I suspect that you would prefer unchecked capitalism over a "socialist" leaning society which understands that you cannot have a healthy economy without supporting your working class.

The American dream is for all of us and the system does not work without both aspects of capitalism in place. Don’t worry Margo, capitalism is safe under Obama. Since he figured out how to earn his millions privately, he understands the concept. Now if I can figure out how to make mine, I would really be thrilled.

I believe that sometimes oversimplification can be a good thing. It keeps us focused on what really matters. No one can argue that greed and lies of ommission and commission were at the core of the issue. As my very southern Big Mama said to me once, "Baby, you got plenty of book sense but you ain’t got a bit of common sense." It is time we used some common sense.

President Obama was very clear to include vocational and trade schools in his speech. As a youth development specialist, I was pleased that he included these notions. And I support his efforts to encourage post-secondary education and funding assistance. I have come to terms with having to pay back my student loans for the rest of my life. However, if we can figure out a way for future generations not to be saddled with such debt I am all for it.

While I have not joined any "group" or hurled "invective" I have been privately boycotting the site as I have noticed a definite change in tone. The phrasing of this poll is but one example of the nasty turn in direction. I will contine to check back periodically to test the waters.
