How amazing. My sister is right. You have managed to show yourself as someone who doesn’t respect women, as well as someone who practices hate speak against gay people. If a wonderful, intelligent woman shouldn’t “waste herself” on another woman, clearly, you don’t think women deserve to be loved by “intelligent, wonderful” people. I don’t understand this. Do you really not understand that at the time President Clinton left office we had a federal SURPLUS???? Do you really not get it that the republicans deregulated everything they could, including the phone companies, which is why we are paying hundreds of dollars a month on telephone service???? The stock market? Really, you need to get some historical perspective here. The GOP has nearly destroyed our country, borrowing trillions of dollars from the Chinese over the past 8 years to pursue a pointless, illegal and unjust war, and you’re blaming President Obama, who’s been in office what, three weeks?

Um, just for the record, I am also appalled by this situation in the zoos. The only reason I can think of to even have zoos is species preservation, but that doesn’t mean they should double as entertainment for bored humans. I was most encouraged that the Human Society has joined our efforts.

Sorry we confused you, Ms. Krissi. Junior has a CyberTablet that you can draw on and it shows up in the computer — she uses a stylus, and believe me, it does save on the mess for her artwork! She scans photographs and things she cuts out of magazines into the computer and moves them around and colors them and writes on them. It’s really a great tool. She’s written a couple of little books and printed them out. Now she’s trying to teach herself out to do animation with it. She’s convinced one can. And if one can, she’ll be the one! F. Peabody.
