Kryssi, After a very consequential accident Oct 24, 2000, I started having panic attacks (didn’t know what they were until diagnosed.) Read an article in the NYT that just as life threatening and life diminishing as cancer, etc….seemed an exaggeration then but now see it. I’ve never taken meds but tried to fix with exercise, meidation, diet etc….everyone needs to figure out what works best for them. But yes, chaos in the world does impact us all and creativity thrives in security and the peace to think. So….feed your creativity I think, in nature, music, poetry…whatever. Give your energy to that…and find the peaceful place you need to create. Best of luck…I think you’re great!! Creative, fun and a good writer.

I think given the report on her illegal firing of former brother-in-law that she and/or the State of Alaska are in for a very time consuming civil suit, She most reminds me of Tom Delay—evil, stupid, lying, stealing and no respect for the law. I’m relocating to France next year because; 1) my son is a French citizen and has lived in Europe most of his live, can’t envision him returning to US and miss him very much. 2) While I love the US, I loathe the US government under GWB and while I am a Democrat I am not a fan of Nancy Pelosi, either. 3) I’m not just leaving something (I love Northern California very much) but going to something. Really love France, and appreciate the health care system and pace of live/values in Provence and proximity to Portugal/Spain/Italy etc. What’s kept me here are mostly my parents, and work committments. For the first time in their vibrant/active/healthy lives both, at 78 and 80, are in compromised health. Even though I can’t do much about that but call everyday and support them as I can, it is extremely distrubing, esp since my brother’s death in late July and the impact that has had on them…and I can’t just leave. Am torn. Miss my son so much and love France, and can’t leave my parents and love Nothern California. Aiyee!
