Will you get the swine flu vaccine this year?

Argggghhhh, that is all I need to hear. Since I have already gotten my regular flu shot there is nothing I can do about it but I will get the swine flu shot also if it is offered. Thanks, Cecile, for sharing the info about the possible effects of one shot vs the other. Good info to have.

Already got the regular flu shot at Walgreens which offers it every day instead of once or twice a season. However, the swine flu hasnt even been offered yet. Will have to call my primary care doctor to see if and when it will be available and his office said not to call until October so have a couple of days yet before I do that.

After a long, stressful day, I dont have any trouble sleeping. In fact, I might worry about getting home before falling asleep on a bus. The opposite is not being able to sleep and a brandy and milk does the trick.

Am on disability and going right into retirement from that. So had to retire before I wanted to and now have to live on what I saved. Dont own a car, dont travel, dont wear fancy clothes and my biggest days out are visits to doctors offices. So I am well aware of how scary it is. All I can hope for is to stay as healthy in my unhealthy state as I can.

I paid into the system all of my life and now that I want to rely on it, it is dwindling fast. I say I worked all my life and didnt make a million dollars in all that time. But, if a millionaire pays a little more in taxes, he is still a millionaire. We should all do our part but in doing so, we should see some reward when we need it.

One thing always bothered me. We start these programs and have all these loopholes so that if there is one extra penny, government can divert that money to something else. What I would like to see is a clause that wont allow this to happen. Social Security is going broke because money was diverted when there was an excess.
