McCain was gracious once, at the end of the road, when he knew he had lost. Remember back when he wouldn’t look at Barak Obama.

Well said, Jackie. I said I was smug, but it’s not true. I’m relieved. “Smug” reminds me of when the Republicans stole the election from Gore. “Smug” reminds me of Mission Accomplished. Smug reminds me of George Bush swaggering out after his second election, and saying that he guessed he had a mandate now, and he was really going to do what he wanted to do. And so he did. I just feel so relieved.

Smug feels good today.

SNL has done a great job throughout this election. Maybe they’ll do a show about where the leading characters are now.

We won’t riot, we’ll dance in the streets. If we don’t win, we’ll be grateful that we have come so far.

No, I can’t see the Democrats rioting either. I think we’ll celebrate how well we’ve done whether we win or lose.

I’ve saved my pumpkins to smash on the stone wall behind our house should Obama not win.

I just can’t see the Republicans rioting.

My daughter and her husband in L.A. voted No on 8. So sorry you have to put up with this ignorance and cruelty.
