Sex education - Sex education - Sex education - and parents who give a rap and teach their kids some responsibility. That poor 15-year-old girl, having sex with half the boys in her class and then having a baby. What a way to start out with a life. And what were her parents doing thru all of this? Not paying attention from the sounds of it. I am truly sorry for the whole sorry mess of them.

Regrets are those shoulda woulda coulda thiings. Negative thoughts and a waste of time. Choices made at the time and choices we make on a daily and minute to minute basis. Live large and do daring things. Never live for regrets. Just hurts yourself.

Other research has been done by other countries with universal health care. And other discoveries are made by them. Research does not stop and scientists do not stop researching because of universal health care. Our private corporations might make some and then keep them as their property but other countries have also and shared them. Has nothing to do with universal health care being the bad here.

HUH? Out of nowhere comes the children in the middle of serious discussions that are making sense. Go away people who cannot join a reasonable discussion - no more childish remarks and name calling

Eastern Washington State - 4 hours from Seattle and 2 from Spokane. Right on the Columbia River. High desert. Hot in the summers. Was raised here when the place was really small - now combining the towns it’s a pretty big city. Been around the country and ended up back home. Recreation and fun on the river and good skiing in the winter. Beavers and skunks and an eagle or two around.

Happy Birthday - you have always been special to a lot of us. Funny, beautiful, intelligent and kind. have enjoyed watching your shows and remember Murphy well. Thank you for the laughs.

Looking good - and hopefully this will lead some to get healthier. Makes me smile. They were on vacation and having good times with friends before taking office. Get over yourselves. What a mag chooses to run on its cover is not a major event. Dissing the pres for it makes no sense, and haven’t had a pres in the past that would pass on the cover of a mag shirtless. It’s a fun thing.

She is an educated, sincere, and caring person. She knows enough to choose being involved in the things that matter to her. And finally we really have a First Lady who gets out and moves around and gets her hands dirty. She has fun! And she likes making friends and talking with people. And she likes dressing in the things that make her comfortable and also look good on her. Has she worn a suit yet? I haven’t seen her in one. She likes color and flow. More power to her.

I do love the part about the people crying about their grandchildren having all this money to pay back and the kids will have nothing and then putting part of the blame right back on em. Why were they doing nothing to save for them children way back years ago? Personally I would rather have an America in good shape - roads, levees, bridges, education, energy to hand over to them when they do have to pay it ( if for some reason it doesn’t get paid back from them big corporations who took it as loans or investments). Money going to states to build or rebuild for the future? Hope so - I want it safe for the little ones as they grow into the future generation that will have to take care of the country and play a bigger role on the world stage. At least lets give them a fighting chance.

Not ALL vets, but ones that might be easy to sway for some reason of their own. Makes sense to me. One might be very angry being shot at in Iraq or have half of their head blown off or both legs etc etc and come back to no help from our government, and no money given to parents or other loved ones who then take over the responsibility of caring for that person. Could be lots of hate for lots of people in some vets returning. Easy to target for some group who advocates hate and violence. That is the message of this report. Please do not go adding some off the wall reading that is not there. This was reported by all but only ranted about on FOX. That is the ranting, raving loonies who find something "bad" about everything. Get past it people - she is not going to resign or be replaced. She apologized for not making it plain enough for some to understand. And too bad she had to.

Really I am pleased with the way Obama is representing us throughout the world. We are on the world stage again, not isolating ourselves with arrogance. We are and will be part of the solution, not the cause of the problem.Why anybody pays any attention to the newts of the swamps or believes the pettiness out of their mouths amazes me. You can smell him coming. And know what? I also would rather have my great grandchildren paying the debt we have now to improve our highways, levees, bridges, education, environment, energy etc etc etc than doing nothing (like some would recommend) and then make them responsible for trying to fix it when we have let the whole country crumble around us and rot from the inside out. What kind of future would that be for a whole generation. We screwed it up it is up to us to fix it before we hand it on, debt or no debt.

Hey - I just moved my mother in with me. She is 86 and having a hard time getting around. It will be fine - we are friends most of the time but once in a while she turns into my mother and I am the daughter. Not cool!  But Lordy, I have been raising my grandson since he was 3 mo and he is now 12. My son has also moved in again - he wanders. So here we are. Thankfully my grandson and my mother are each others best friends. And I have a daughter and granddaughter close and my mothers brother is close. This arrangement will work out fine, but I am finding that my mother has more problems than I thought, might have to do more.

Anybody who read on a regular basis could have answered that question in a heartbeat. A newspaper? Ever? A magazine? Ever? A science magazine? Ever? A medical flyer in the doctors office? She was running for VP for petes sake. Nothing on health care? Nothing on foreign policy? Not even on McCains? Where Was She? She just did herself no favor. Her screwup. Period. 

This really doesn’t seem to be the same as the depression in the 1930’s. This isn’t only us. This is world wide and the same didn’t happen in the 1930’s. This is global and countries and people need to act together and make sweeping changes to set things right. This country is falling apart at the seams. Bridges collapse, highways fall apart, levees don’t work, the education system isn’t working, no health insurance or care for our people who need it. Talk about leaving a state of disrepair and ineptitude for our grandchildren etc. Let’s just pay for a better world for them. Our (everybodys) President Obama is thinking of things the majority of us don’t think of or have the knowledge of. With faith and hope in our nation and an outlook of both of those we might be able to pull through. But the negative, name-calling and nasty comments about people that others have no personal relations with will bring it all down. So kindly cut it out - the old adage "If you don’t have something nice to say - don’t say anything at all" works really well. Comment on the bills and the stimulus package and what it will do and what it won’t, comment on universal health care etc, but stop with the crap your fingers type.
