We cannot lead the world again until we cleanse our nation from this stain of torture. Under our current laws, this photographic evidence is available. I do not want to see them because of the damage just the sight of them would do to my spirit, but evidence of what our soldiers or operatives have done in our name should be available to whom ever wants to see. There is nothing in these pictures that will surprise anyone with whom we are at war. We have stooped to the level of our enemies and the world knows they already know what torture looks like. This action is being taken for the well being of the US, to make us whole again.

I agree as usual with all of your above posts. I just wanted to reply to you instead of just post. The Obama’s do not act elitist, they just seem like an interesting and loving family. But they are elite. Just to make sure, I understood the word, I looked it up. Both President Obama and his lovely, stylish wife are well educated (Harvard Law) and articulate. He is a published, and profitable, author. Mrs. Obama left great employment to both raise her children and help get her husband elected President. I don’t care what your unit of measure, that is a pretty elite couple. I for one, and the majority of Americans, are tickled to death to have an elite President and First Lady.

This is great news. Puppies and kids playing in the yard….The President and the First Lady entertaining….Hillary Clinton and the President sitting at the picnic table by the swings….The President keeping in touch with the American People and actually talking to us….My oh my, what a difference a few weeks make. Civility and intelligence are just running amok in the White House. Oh Happy Days!

I agree if MDs and staff come to your home. I was thinking if screening test could be developed along the lines of a home pregnancy test then we could do some good. Urine, feces, spit and any other body fluid must hold some clues. My mother in law used to call in to test her pace maker…. something like that for heart patients could be cost saving. It wouldn’t even have to be at home…. perhaps kind of like a internet cafe? Very futuristic, but sounds promising to me. Although it does make me think I can never find a full service filling station when I need my tire pressure checked.

Funny story… I know an artist in Nashville. He is also a fireman. Went out on a fire call to a very nice home in Nashville and while going in the home to put out the fire noticed lovely original art on the walls. Obviously a serious collector. The artist in him overcame the fireman and he started pulling canvases out of the fire. Worked and saved them all but one. Got up close to a piece and realized it was an original Kincaid…. left it on the wall.

Good grief! I haven’t even looked at the home page for articles. I was just answering some replies to my posts. Yes, I agree that there are some very nasty folks on this site sometimes. Is it possible that some of these people get paid to stir the pot? I don’t mean by WOW, but by some crazy right wing conservative hate mongering group. I think that the anonymity of postings brings out the worst in people. Why on earth would people say such awful things for the world to see. Intelligent debate and conversation is educational and enlightening, but name calling is just ignorant. I am watching Rachel Maddow right now…..talking about educational!
