Margo Howard, Ann Coulter Miraculously Agree: Palin Too Big for Alaska

Oh, this is the best one yet! Hahahaha!

Will Palin’s book be Pop-Up or Coloring?

Margo Howard, Ann Coulter Miraculously Agree: Palin Too Big for Alaska

Legal vernacular in everyday conversation. I love it.

More deponent sayeth not.

Liz Smith: Michael Jackson's Arrested Development

Maybe this kind of tragic catharsis is a good thing. We can simply erase all the bad, weirdo, wacko things we felt at the end of that trial and go back to embracing the creative Michael.

That’s how it was for me. Last week when an MJ song would come on the radio I would turn the channel. Since he has passed away, I have begun to listen to his music again.

Margo Howard on the Aftershock of Michael Jackson's Death

"The Love You Save" reminds me of being 12 yrs old when I bought that 45. I played it loudly on my portable record player. The neighbors came over and taught me how to dance to it. MJ and I were the same age and I had a crush on him.

It’s easy to envy the rich & famous for their easy accessiblity to top-notch health care and physicians. I tend to imagine how perfect my health would be if I had access to the same treatments that many of them have access to. The down side appears to be their easy access to top-shelf drugs as well.

P.S. I envy you in Paris!

Call a caterer, put on a caftan and light up a cigarette.

Dear Margo: When a Daughter's Life Is Her Own

A quote from writer Dave Barry:

You should never say anything to a woman that even remotely suggests that you think she’s pregnant unless you can see an actual baby emerging from her at that moment.

What Is It About Adam Lambert? by Allegra Huston

I think the reason why Adam is liked so much is because he’s not the least bit vain or self-absorbed. If he were stuck on himself he would not be so damn adorable. He is confident and assured of himself, but does not come across as egomaniac.

Of Presidential Mistresses, and Me: A Confession by Margo Howard

Great story. You should have had a gimmick for attracting his interest. No doubt Monica used her "presidential knee pads" as a conversation-starter.

Dear Margo: Religious Fanatics on the Lunatic Fringe

I’ve heard of a prayer chain, but not a "phone prayer tree". If I had three friends, I would try it.

Dear Margo: Religious Fanatics on the Lunatic Fringe

I’ve prayed over her at night while she sleeps, enlisted friends in a phone prayer tree and even spoken to my priest about the possibility of an exorcism.

What is the heck is a prayer tree? Oh geeze.

Liz Smith: Men! Esquire Explains Them, Sort Of

I read Esquire while sitting in a doctor’s waiting room and I learned how to fold a suit when traveling and also how to properly polish my shoes—practical advice whether male or female. I just recently bought HGB’s book The Late Show —for her great advice.

Happy Birthday, Candice Bergen!

Happy Birthday, Ms. Bergen. You are as lovely today as you were in The Wind and the Lion.

Liz Smith: Susan Boyle – To Glam or Not to Glam?

I’ve been watching What Not To Wear since its inception and I have to vote for the glam!
