Liz Smith: Rihanna – Dump Your Abuser, Now!

Amelie, what a beautiful name!  What I was trying to say originally was that police generally look at who threw the first punch, slap, etc. when surmising up a situation.

Liz Smith: Rihanna – Dump Your Abuser, Now!

I read the police report and it appears that Chris attacked her.

Liz Smith: Rihanna – Dump Your Abuser, Now!

Hi, I wish I could delete my former comments, as they were wrong!

Dear Margo: A New, Creative Kind of Midlife Crisis

There’s always the Mystic tan, it’s a spray-on tan.  I used it regularly a few years back and loved it.

Liz Smith: Rihanna – Dump Your Abuser, Now!

Hi Liz,

Say, why isn’t there any buzz about the latest Celebrity Apprentice?   Even the women at The View are ignoring it.  Dennis Rodman, Andrew Dice Clay, Clint Black, Khloe Kardashian, Brian McKnight, Joan and Melissa Rivers and Jesse James, to name a few.   When Andrew Dice Clay called Mr. Trump "Donny" I found it very entertaining…as well when Mr. Trump fired "Andy" at the end.  This season has Dennis Rodman, Andrew Dice Clay, Clint Black, Khloe Kardashian, Brian McKnight, Joan and Melissa Rivers and Jesse James, to name a few, yet nobody’s talking about it.

I wish there were an "edit" feature for the comments section.    I was wrong when I said Chris wasn’t arrested.   (See quote below).   Still, the police merely "slapped his hands" and let him post bail.

"The sweet-faced "Run It!" singer turned himself in wearing jeans at a Los Angeles police stationhouse about 7:15 p.m. local time.

He was polite, cooperated with cops and was released after paying $50,000 bail, police said."

I think Rihanna threw the first punch.  It is not excuse for what Chris did but would explain why he wasn’t arrested.  Legally, it was self defense for Chris.  They both need to learn anger management?

Rush is a slob.  I cannot believe that the educated and rich in the republican party can tolerate Rush as a mouthpiece on their behalf.  Quite a few donated to campaign Obama after Palin was nominated—out of concern for their own party.  Mellon even endorsed Hillary. Why is Rush invited to all those events?  A man who doesn’t take care of his own health is not a well-balanced person.  Rush looks extremely unwell.

Liz is only 77?  That’s young by today’s standards.

Dear Margo: What to Do When Everything's Out of Whack

I have a six year old sheltie who is a wonderful buddy.

Liz Smith: Chelsea Handler, E!'s Ball of Fire … Larry Hagman Honored … Gerald McRaney to 'Get Low'

Madonna and her 22 year old men…..I know the guys are hot, but there is something extremely sexy about a man in his 40s.  He loses the "boyish" look and really becomes more masculine.  I’ll take a man in his 40’s over a 22 year old any day.   Who wants to make love to a boy?

Liz Smith on CNN: 'Gossip Now Is Intensely Vitiated'

What does vitiated mean?  I have to look that up at Dictionary.com:

vi⋅ti⋅ate   /ˈvɪʃiˌeɪt/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [vish-ee-eyt] Show IPA

–verb (used with object), -at⋅ed, -at⋅ing. 1. to impair the quality of; make faulty; spoil. 2. to impair or weaken the effectiveness of. 3. to debase; corrupt; pervert. 4. to make legally defective or invalid; invalidate: to vitiate a claim.

Margo Howard: Global Warming Is Hot!

Beau Radley was actually quite abusive to the point that the editor had to delete several of his posts.
