To the post that said women on the “left” have a double standard, meaning they have questions about Sarah Palin’s leadership abilities. Have you forgotten so quickly the criticisms of Hillary Clinton? It is not a “Right” or “Left” issue, anyone aspiring to high office has ambition, but it goes to judgement how they conduct their life both personal and professional as to whether they will be a responsible leader.

Whoopi I like what you had to say about Hillary. All through her campaign I was getting really angry because I could see she was being treated differently. I am glad Barack won, and I will support him. About John McCain, I think he will say and do anything to keep the media focus on him and his campaign and hope that gets him the vote—-I sure hope “we, American’s”, all colors, has wised up since 2000 and 2004.

Well, ladies - if I knew the best way to please a man, I would probably have one in my life. Since I don’t I’m guessing I haven’t a clue! At 62 I’m yet willing to learn.

I would do the 70’s over, not because it was such a GREAT decade, but I grew into the person I wanted to be and if I had the chance to do it over I would probably not do the same things I did before. I would be more carefree, and more of an adult.

This question will at least get a conversation started. The question reminds me of a TV special I was watching not long ago on how some animals scientists thought were monogamous, aren’t. I know many people probably are monogamous, but I feel it’s difficult for many because some of us are just too darn curious! For me personally, it’s been so long ago it doesn’t matter.

In the world of male dominated politics, why is it the Democratic party’s representative end up making scandals in male-female affairs. In my early youth I would have been aghast that a woman would stay with her husband after she found out he was unfaithful, but at the ripe age of 60+ today I am aghast we really expect Spitzer to lose his job over this, I agree with Lily Tomlin, I believe this could be politically driven and before we hastily ruin yet another politician’s let’s take a breath, I am sure Silda will do what is best for herself and her family, and let’s try to be More like the person we want others to be, and stop condeming others for faults that often loom large in our own lives. I have no opinion on the Spitzer’s marriage, but I have a question about why aren’t we outraged over the laws that have been broken by this administration on the last 7 years, rather than paying so much attention to an everyday occurrence like an affair, be it prostitute or not, between a man and a woman. As long as she is not under age, and there were no duress involved. Are we still so puritanical in the 21st century!
