Interesting that at least two of those couples (Sting, Springsteen) met while at least one was married and their resulting relationship broke up those marriages…you just don’t ever know how things are going to turn out. I’ve always loved Kyra onscreen and am so excited she’s back at it again! And Kevin is just…our generation’s McDreamy!

Holy cow. Now that’s palace intrigue. Which leads to a really interesting question: what would Hillary do if she didn’t have a senate seat nor a Cabinet position and wanted to be presidential candidate? No reason she can’t run…right?

If I were 200 pounds I would not look that good. I mean even at 200 pounds the woman looks good — the gift of being Oprah continues!

My husband and I cannot figure out what we want or what to get for each other this year for Christmas and I’m a woman who loves presents under the tree. We aren’t wealthy mind you. Hey — we’re content! Hallelujah!

Oprah seems to be dealing with an addiction to food. If that’s true, it’s a whole other ball of wax then proper diet, exercise and positive thinking. Whatever it is, I’d love to see her at peace with herself in this area. I love this woman, she’s done a lot for the big world.

OK, I’m not a big Hill fan but *why* is Linda Tripp — a woman who showed herself to be at least as Machiavellian as what she’s projecting on the Clintons — a voice worth amplifying?

As a proud feminist it breaks my heart to say that we women have a very far road to travel before we understand how to successfully interact with each other in the workplace. I work in a technical field and I stay in jobs as technical as possible not just because it means I work mostly with men but it means the women I work with are far more emotionally sound, being innate logical problem solvers. I’ve learned how to promote myself (and others), so working with men has not been a problem. Today the only man on our team is the boss and he hired a new team of four women (engineers). At first I was apprehensive but those fears have been swept aside, he’s picked winners. I’m working with amazingly smart women that I enjoy and can depend upon. When it happens, it’s as fabulous as I’d hoped. But when I was in marketing with mostly women — Good Lord! The only people who have gunned for me professionally, and I mean out to destroy my career, were women in marketing. My (male) boss used to be floored by it, I let him call it before I brought it up because men hate nothing more than whining women but he noticed it and got tired of dealing with it. “It’s a woman thing” he’d say. It took reading a bunch of books to understand what was going on. The best was “In the Company of Women” a book whose description of the problem was far superior to the solution. The problem: women will attack you not because you’re weak but because you’ve got something that they think is superior to them and that is unacceptable in female society, you must be knocked down and they’ll use isolation, personal attacks and all kinds of sabotage. And I thought it was because I was somehow offending them by my actions, not because of positive qualities. There is also the reality that statistically more women then men suffer from personality disorders like borderline and narcissistic personality disorder, which are havoc makers.
