Indeed, canuck canuck.   There hasn’t been transparency since the beginning of the campaign.   I have to agree that the republicans are better prepared this time around.   Sarah Palin is a threat.   I never knew how much.   She lost in 2008 and is not running for anything and yet she is getting more attention than all of the other politicians combined.

Her book, which I am reading now, will be purchased and read by the middle class.   They will find a rogue politician.   They will back a winner in 2012 if she runs.   She didn’t need to reinvent herself like Obama did when he published his first book.   I still shake my head at the number of racist comments Obama made throughout his book.   Stunning.

Despite being characterized by many as a divisive force in her party and the nation, Americans are much more likely to give Palin a positive rating (47 percent favorable) than another prominent female leader — Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (28 percent favorable). Moreover, about six in 10 Americans (61 percent) think Palin has been treated unfairly by the press, according to the latest Fox News poll.

Wait until the state-run media hears this.

You seem to continue with your issues, Laurel.   How in the world could you be penalized for working hard?   Doesn’t make sense.   All responsible people work to earn an income that will meet their personal needs.   It’s those Americans who live way beyond their means….file bankruptcy lose their homes who are the slackards.

Mel, if you do not feel that Obama has failed us then you need a course in basic math.   Obama is a socialist driven far left leaning President….that’s the problem.    Americans reject that.  The polls register the heartbeat of the middle class.    Obama is tanking because he has an agenda for America that Americans reject.  

Laurel, and you don’t think I didn’t save money to put my children through college.   Life is about choices.   My choice was to take care of the children I brought into the world.   It’s not about a ridiculous Xbox…it’s about education and a good solid foundation so that they would be good citizens.   I choose to give the hand up to my children not to people I do not know and will never know.   Choices, Laurel…..choices.   At the end of every day we are responsible for the choices we make for ourselves.

No high horse….personal responsibility.   There are millions of Americans just like me.

As you grow and learn, Laurel, you will feel differently.   I paid for three children to go to college and grad school to the tune of $450,000.00….my money, earned and invested because that was my personal responsibility to get them through school.   I’ll do the same for my grandchildren.   I believe in personal responsibility and I will never look for a handout.  

We have too many people in our country who turn to the handouts first.   The taxpayers pay for this.   We are a nation of lazy undirected people who don’t get it.    We need to get back to the basics of life where we take care of our own so that we will not be a burden on society.    The government has taught people how to treat them….look to us for your rent, food, education and health insurance.   We’ll make this work for you because we’ll turn to the rich and take their hard earned money.   How dare they work that hard and drive nice cars and own nice homes!!   They need to share their income with their neighbor.

What’s wrong with America?   Bleeding heart liberals who have taken the dignity away from hard working, successful Americans who lived their lives doing the right thing.    Now we must share it with the slackards.   Communism doesn’t work.   Socialism doesn’t work.   People need to work.    Our government needs to take our tax dollars to pay for those who cannot work due to disabilities.   We need to take care of those Americans.   We do not need to take care of illegal immigrants and their large families and those who simply are taking advantage of all of us who do the right thing.

You might really enjoy living in a European country, Laurel.   No upper class.   No middle class.   Just a class…the same as your neighbor no matter how hard you try to be successful and attain a higher income.    You need to experience what it is like to work hard and then be penalized for it.   I wish that for you and everyone else who wants to get ahead in life.   Go somewhere where the government controls your income.   Then get back to me.

Karleen, it is clear that you have no rebuttal on what Obama has done incorrectly.   Your email alerts to me are childish and a total waste of time.   Obviously you have nothing worthwhile to offer in discussing the crisis our country is facing.   This is no longer about GWB.   It’s at Obama’s feet.     Something is very wrong with this administration….and Americans, the majority of Americans, aren’t buying into Obama’s empty words anymore.

Bottom line, Belinda, she wouldn’t have done any worse than Obama.   Obama wrote the book on "whining."   We all know that.

Laurel, as usual you put forth an emotional response rather than an intellectual one.   I can understand your frustration and your denial of what the constitution stands for.   I care very deeply about poor families.   I pay exorbitant taxes and it is my pleasure to do so.   However, the redistribution of wealth is bad for America.   When you become older, have a family, working your butt off to get ahead only to find out that now you are going to pay higher taxes so that your next door neighbor who choses not to work because they simply don’t like to work can have a hand up then you will get it.   You will understand it better when you are older and wiser and have children to put through college.

It was worthless, actually, and demonstrats that the democrats are finding it harder and harder to address the many failures of this administration.   They are tanking in the polls because they’ve not had a clue how to address the unemployment.  Their failed attempts at bailouts, both the banks and the auto industry are remarkable.   We are lagging way behind in recovery when compared to other countries.   This administration got it all wrong and China is distant with the United States because of the massive spending this administration brought forth without any results.  

You can have your moments of catty remarks but in the end it is always about the bottom line.   I understand your position of wanting to avoid a rebuttal.   If I were in your shoes, I might be tempted to do the same thing.   You elected a loser to the White House because he brought a socialist government control agenda in his little red wagon.   The American people are rejecting him.

Laurel, of course I understand sarcasm.   I’ve learned to ignore it.   Maggie, as usual, avoids rebuttal at all costs when it comes to Obama and his administration and the fact that they have not accomplished anything in one year.   They have, in fact, enhanced the economic issues because they simply had the special interest programs to pay back the campaign donations as their priority instead of addressing the small businesses in our country.

Obama has surrounded himself with losers.   Geithner is on the hook for his failed stimulus and some are calling for him to step down.   His own democrats!   

What is obvious to me on this site, in particular, is that the democrat’s pockets are empty in their verbal bailout out of Obama’s failed attempts to understand what was needed from day one to avoid high unemployment.   These ivy league guys were in way over their head.

I can say this.   A republican would’ve done the same thing Ronald Reagan did when Jimmy Carter handed him inflation, recession and a deficit.   Obama doesn’t have a clue.   46% now in the ratings.    I actually feel sorry for him.   He just couldn’t walk the walk.   I never thought he could.

Carol, here’s a list of the many trivial ethics complaints filed against Sarah Palin compliments of the Obama researchers.  Sarah Palin is the only person I know of who has written a book where the AP hired 11 factcheckers to tear her book apart.   They certainly didn’t hire people to fact check Biden’s two books.   This gives you an idea why Palin resigned as governor.   She did the right thing.   All of these ridiculous Chicago political tactics has come back to hurt this administration as her approval rating among republicans today is up to 70%.     She just keeps getting stronger and stronger with every obstacle Obama’s team throws in front of her.
