Warren is stomach turning gross….gross to look at…gross in is bigoted views. Was a big Obama fan…now just whatever…definitely will not be watching.

I think it’s rather perverse to ascribe the term ‘naughty’ to unlike ‘crimes’ like screwing a hooker and screwing many people out of their life savings and ruining untold numbers of lives. Is a insensible 16 year old choosing this language to describe petty stuff and truly heinous crimes together. I don’t believe the refined, shocked 80-something Florida couple I saw being interviewed on TV having lost EVERYTHING as a result of Madoff think he’s ‘naughty.’ Grow-up, Wow.

Here’s an Obama fan who will definitely NOT be watching the invocation…he couldn’t have picked a bigger UNPRINTABLE when there are so many great poets/religous leaders he could have chosen. Very disappointing….there are better and classier ways to be inclusive.

I send e-cards to most and a few cards out to those who don’t have email. Xmas is my deceased husband’s b-day and is not much of a holiday for me anymore. Jan 20th would have been my big holiday this year, but with Obama’s outrageous choice of that creepy Rick Warren to give invocation—this Obama fan is disgusted and probably won’t watch that either.

I grew up in beauty and idealism and too many Disney films, and with the belief that dreams come true, the Fairy Tale Godmother exists, the Prince comes and kisses and awakens me. Call it Magical Thinking, but it served me very well. Then 2000 arrived with the heinous dark lot that destroyed everything, including my belief that women were the smarter, nobler, wiser gender. Isn’t necessarily so, as female Bush/Palin supporters have shown over and again. Disillusionment did set in…the American Dream was a lie, our people were dimwits, your hard earned everything can vanish in a heartbeat. Deep breath. Transcend. Rewatch “If You Wish Upon a Star.” Completely cut out everything out that is ugly [and to me the ultimate ugly is the BushCo mindset and all that entails] and focus all energies on own dreams. Disillusionment is temporary, a place to rethink and grow smarter and stronger if you don’t decide to move in and ‘live there.’ My life is up to me, it is beautiful, a dream…I’ll carry on wishing on that star and making it all come true just as have a million times before.
