When a President asked the advice of a leader and then does not give him what he needs it does not set well.  He may think he is helping them by delaying deployments but if they need them now due to stressed forces they need them yesterday!

It takes a month or more for a deployed unit to prepare to deploy, ship equipment, and get there to relieve or support a mission.  Meanwhile he wants more time to think about it????? 

 I’m surprised the troops there have not refused to go out on missions without back up.  When you call for backup you need back up not to have your commander say…lets give it 60 plus more days!!!???

Free market dictates salary for CEO’s…if you do not agree do not buy their product/service and surely do not buy their stock if you want your investment to make a return. 

 The soldier you speak of  that "wasn’t military material" served two tours in Iraq and spent 37 months in the middle east during his  enlistment.  The entire time he was fighting for your rights and and followed the orders of his commanding offers.

He nearly died ( his best friend did) when his Stryker hit a buried IED that is the reason he to this day is being treated for PTSD so your comments are insulting.

He soon as the option of re-enlistment and I woul dnot doubt the Fort Hood situation may have factored into his decision.  IF you cannot trust your fellow soldiers and your CIC is defending terrorists…would you want to continue?

His lack of respect has made at least one soldier related to me decide to leave the military even though he was going to stay because he cannot serve under a Commander in Chief who has no respect for the job!
