Yes I’ve been fired and I was rather bitter about the whole thing for awhile but I got over it and moved on.

I feel sad for those involved but there are many many other people who don’t have jobs right now. Maybe the CEO and bank presidents and VP should take a major pay cut and there might be enough money to keep things going. Greed is ruling this country. The little guy is getting hurt.

If the normal Joe Doakes has a financial meltdown, the government isn’t going to help so why should they help a big company. They get tax breaks and all sorts of benefits from the government already. Our country is in enough debt right now. Our tax dollars need to go to better things than bailing out big companies.

I try to give everyone the benefit of a doubt when it comes to lies. I don’t like them but I know that at times, you have to lie. Doesn’t make it right but hopefully you aren’t hurting anyone with the lie.

Forgot to add that my dh is retired and I am unable to work due to health reasons.

We barely make it thru the month so we don’t have any extra to stash. I don’t even have medical insurance because it’s just to expensive. We sold our home in NM to downsize and find a more comfortable situation with bills and such. We don’t have credit cards, we don’t go out and spend on foolish things, we don’t eat out, we don’t go to movies, heck-we don’t do much of anything any longer.

I say NO! Our value system is bad enough in the world and don’t forget about all the diseases and such. There would be no way to assure that everyone is checked out to be safe and I really don’t think it would protect women. There would still be that man that wants to get rough and hurt the women he is involved with. I have always had trouble sleeping. I wake up often. Not sure what wakes me but I wake up every night between 2 and 4. UGH!

We shouldn’t blame the prostitutes-it takes two to tango as they say. Men are just as guilty. IF men would stay loyal to their partner-prostitutes wouldn’t be in that line of work. IF there were problems in the “marriage bed” then there should have been some therapy someplace. There had to be a reason. Spitzer’s wife had no other choice than to stand there. Much less pressure on the family.

I think Hillary is a great choice. She’s a strong woman. The problem is that this country is still so male-oriented. A woman is either a witch (with a b) or she’s to emotional. We’ve heard both about Hillary. She had a episode of tears. They claimed that she was to emotional and couldn’t really deal with the job. Being emotional doesn’t mean you can’t deal with a job. It means that you are passionate about the job and feel the frustrations of not being able to do the job to benefit everyone. I say—-GO HILLARY!!!
