Laura and the rest of your life will be awesome! Sometimes we just have to start over. And sometimes we have to start over and over. As a former Catholic and a Grandmother and Mother who were/ are very devote to the faith I dont’ like that recovering Catholic thing. I totally understand it, but..well… its kinda icky. I have just found I couldn’t deal with it all, besides the fact that my husband is a former Church of Christ and his family told me I was going to hell just cause I wasnt’ a member of their church surprised when they get to heaven…… Can’t wait. I will have my night vision goggles and have a good laugh! Blessings and Peace for one and all during this Holy Week for the Christians in the room. Well I am starting to think I am the only stay at home mom here. I “dress” for church on Sundays, and that is typically casual. Oh i dress up every once in a while. I have secretly always wanted one of those abush make over things. But I would probably get mad and cry because I know my clothes are slouchy. Dressing a husband who is a VP and three girls one which is in high school, momma is low on the pole. If i stay at home I typically put on my lounge wear, nice pj pants and a tshirt. I quit worring about the make up thing and no WAY would I wear a heel over two inches. But it shows who I am. I am typically a very happy person, positive in most aspects of my life. I can be horribly bitchy at any given moment, no warning coming. But that is typically saved for the most loved people in my life. I wish I could buy more stuff for myself, there are alot of sighs from my inner self when I see all these stay at home moms with more up to date things then I have. But then again, I am pushing 40 YEA!!! (well have 2 more years) and starting a massage business and I teach music to a bunch of preschoolers on Mondays and Tuesdays so I am on the floor. Okay lets be honest, I want a maid, cook, driver and several millions of dollars to blow on whatever the heck I want. Okay babbling, had my youngest birthday party today, went bowling and I am pooped! I wore brown “capris” which on me are down to my ankles (5’1) and a nice green top with cute mary jane tennis shoes ( when I wasn’t wearing bowling shoes). I must say I was adoreable!! Lent is not supposed to be about getting a reward one way or another. It is about sacrificing something that is hard for you to give up. I mean in the Christian faith Christ gave up his LIFE for us…soooo… See the point? In our church we do focus alot of Lent and Holy week. So its a big deal for us. This year instead of giving up something I went on a Medical Mission trip to Nicaragua. I didn’t preach the word of God I lived it. Showed it, played it, became everything a human is supposed to be. Kind,loving, patient, open and willing. And it was HARD!!!! I am sorry to read alot of people gave up religion of some sort and feel great about it. I mean I see where you are coming from, but its still a bit sad. Yes its about a relationship with God, but I am not telling you you have to be one faith. I am a christian, that is me. I am not going to change that. but I also learn about other faiths and how we are all intertwined together. Lent is over in a week and a half. By the way :) blessings

OH ladies, Mount Rushmore is an AMERICA rock, so only pick americans…. I mean its fun to think about putting women up there..but lets be honest, men don’t want a bunch of womens heads looking down on them so it will never happen. EVER! But I do enjoy the fact that Abigail Adams was mentioned she is my great great great great… grandmother. If we had womens head on mount rushmore I would want my Grandma Helen Gates (who started a home for handicapped adults to find jobs and live on their own) my 6th grade teacher who told me i WAS smart enough and Had one of the most beautiful voices she ever heard and encouraged me to be in theater, my best friend Sarah who is the sister of my heart and I waited for for a very long time she loves me no matter what. And well just for giggles myself! but without the glasses. Now the reason why all these women… cause we are just normal everyday people who make this world keep on turning. We make differances oh we dont’ change laws, or make billions(only in my dreams) but we love our friends and the human spirit. We love life and take in the differances in all of us human beings trying to find a place in this world. :)

Okay, Attention Brenda Post!! Hey girl. First and formost I am so very sorry about your lose.That kind of thing is for life. But looking for a man. Well quit looking first off. I know I am married and I should keep my mouth shut (which is nearly impossible by the way). Lets focus on Brenda first. Brenda is a smart, loving, beautiful human being (am I right girls?) who can live life without a man in it. Oh sure the sex is nice (if you can get him to do it right). Having someone in your life is wonderful (if they clean up after themselves) and someone to sit with on the couch to watch TV is wonderful ( as long as its not WWF and the Pussycat doll show).But just don’t go looking for him in a bar..ugh (sorry to those of you who found love in a bar, I found love at a college beer party but that is besides the point and I was 19years old)… Lets put it this way, if you are going to find a man to love you, your children, your dog, your career, ALL of YOU, he might show up sooner or later. Lets find groups for you to join, do you like to scrapbook? Do one of your mom or kids. How about going to church (or whatever you want to go to). Or better yet, watch the Bachelor (British invasion) and thank heavens your not one of THOSE poor girls. Blessings

Well I am not ashamed like many people I love tv. We are one of those very rare familys that do not have cable or satelite. So PBS, ABC, NBC ,CBS or FOX is what we watch. I do have my favorite shows. But I also am a huge reader, I go through two books a week, well depending on the book. Between getting up with my children, husband, dogs fixing lunches teaching music, trying to get my Massage business up and running (anyone interested?) I like to sit in front of the tv and just zone out. Nothing wrong with zoning out. Wish people would quit making others feel bad about it. Admit it we are all lazy its not a bad thing but it can become a bad habit. Enjoy ladies, if you are a CEO, stay at home mom, retired enjoy your day do what you have to do and enjoy the time you have.

yea I have to agree with Elizabeth. If you could talk about Target, WalMart, Gap, something besides Halston. Which my mother purchased. But trying to purchase that for myself and children is a bit outta touch. I am glad you all have enjoyed him and like to purchase his clothes…but is this site for every woman? Or just Alpha/wealthy females? I am certainly a beta mom :)
