Nan Kempner, Pat Buckley, Betsy Bloomingdale … Has the vogue of being too rich or too thin lost its glitter?

Ok sure, but I’ll state that I would be happy to trade bank accounts with any one of them any time!

I love the way the women polled are ALL rich and none are overweight! Gimme a break…

On the Chanel Trail at Palm Beach Consignment Shops

Ok - call me a total middle classer, but $60 for a pair of shoes is no bargain! Now, the sweater for $12.50, yeah, but buying a used dress for $900, when it originally cost $2,000 and thinking you are getting a deal? Who the heck can afford a $900 dress????? Maybe all those rich ladies that run this website, but us “Real” people cannot. AND, who would want to anyway? I guess it’s all a matter of perspective. Even if I had alot of money, would I want to spend $900 on a dress ever? Nope.

But That's Another Story: The Photos of Marilyn Monroe, by Milton H. Greene

The credit where it says The Prince and the Showgirl is actually a photo from Bus Stop. Marilyn was so incandescent on film and in photos. She is truly a one of a kind!
