Whenever I hear about life’s "lessons", I always wonder when we get the chance to apply what we learned. Since there are people who skydive and survive despite a mishap, get bitten by sharks and go back in the ocean, crash cars and keep racing, it seems to be more the experiencing of an event, than the learning from it. You can have something bad happen to you and escape the lesson, but you can’t escape the emotion of the event.

Her beauty is only one aspect of her total being. No one is responsible for how GOD created them. Suppose we judged all people who aren’t beautiful, as being as immoral as their plainness or ugliness suggested, judging them by the standards of appearance. All beautiful people must contain only qualities in agreement with their appearance, and then so must others be judged?  Makes no sense. It isn’t as though being beautiful gives someone a life free of strife. Being beautiful also does not require any partcular code of conduct. Being normal or ugly doesn’t sentence us to a life of unhappiness or failure, either. But being  average or homely doesn’t give people around you a sense of unease, or inferiority.  My mother-in-law could never understand why other women tended to be unfriendly to her…….she was beautiful, that’s why.

I got rid of my 1985 Renault Alliance about 3 years ago.The interior of the car was immaculate (wife and 2 kids) and everything worked on the car. Rusted out undercarriage did it in. No engine work ever, no valve adjustment ever, mileage down about 10% over new. I had over 250,000 miles on this 4 cylinder, peppy little great riding car. For me mobil 1 from the start did the job. I only changed oil once a year. I still do the same on my 1989 Mitzi turbo. No engine work, about 200,000 and still going strong….35 mpg highway. I bought this one used about 1996.I replaced one clutch on my Renault at about 25,000 miles. It was free under warranty.This was truly a wonderful riding, peppy little car.

Why should any American care which family member of a long line of thieves achieves the throne? What are royals but a bunch of parasites living off the labor of the people. We have our own, called bankers and corporation owners.

If you were a ditch digger, there would be no problem with the idea of retirement.So, if your work is like play, keep "working".

About 50 years ago, businesses encouraged the use of credit cards to the general populace to encourage buying beyong means. Once the easy credit, minimum payment idea caught on, they started raising the prices of items. Profit margins are never high enough for business. When cash was king, people were bigger bargain hunters=lower prices.  Careful bargain shopping by all who are not rich, is the only way to get low prices from business. Demand cars that don’t pollute and also get 50 mpg. If we don’t make big demands for our bucks, we’ll keep getting screwed forever.

I worked with a guy who left Mensa because a genius I.Q.,and physical beauty are two rare qualities that don’t combine in a woman who wanted him.We had some great blow out discussions alone together in our computer room. No president of the U.S. should be less than genius level.

Don’t expect any recovery of funds, or punishment of thieves. We would have to live in China to expect that. Maybe if we had an unowned Third party president and congress, there might be a flicker of hope. We will have to continue  supporting the financial,corporation tapeworms that rule our society.Where health reform is concerned, only the single payer(no insurance companies) system will help our society,which lags far behind all single payer countries.The news media is a propaganda tool for business, and in no way liberal. Notice how the last thing they mention is what the Republican party has to say about any issue? The average american will be in the toilet until the 90% tax is restored on the super parasites.
